The funny thing is, he's probably charging for overhead! ROFL!!
I dont know if this is fake or not, but I literally had a guy do this to me. I was a property manager and this guy provided janitorial service. We soon noticed that light bulbs and other non cleaning items were missing. When our maintenance guys would go they would swear they left that stuff there so they didnt have to go back to the shop.
We later learned the janitor also moonlighted as a maintenance guy. So he would replace light bulbs.... with OUR light bulbs! We then installed locks on the maintenance closets and magically our stuff stopped disappearing and just as coincidentally, his side business closed down.
