Doggies fan - I thought the try call could’ve gone either way tbh but let’s be real, the Storm were being dominated most of that game. Hopefully we get to see the bunker camera angle that got them to that conclusion though

Penrith move off their line every defensive tackle and essentially close off at least 5 metres each time.
They are also obviously huge on leg work because all players have amazing leg drive.

I wondered why they didn't take the two. Perhaps they should have. Once you get the guaranteed 2, then you only need 1 try in 10 minutes. But they tapped, meaning they needed 2 tries in 10 minutes. I ain't good at maths, but, I'd rather take the 2 and chance scoring within goal kicking range then have to score twice. But, sometimes I guess ya just gotta back yaself!
Nelson was a big miss just to dent the line and second play

No they didn't
It was a cracker game for the first 15 20 mins you could see exactly what Panthers aimed to do and that was make us run out of our own end and defend our own half all night and they succeeded in that. They practicly perfect with their sets and had us under pressure which too much inexperience cost us. Every time it looked like we were getting back up we couldn't get across the line bcos we were too gassed and tried the old 1 out plays then a kick and that's club standard not gf standard. Storm had like 6 players from 2020 gf and panthers have 39 now 40 gf total for 13 players and that showed in the game. Panthers well deserved the win I don't give 2 fs what anyone says. I think we made 4 errors not even over the half way line and as Craig says at the end of the day you won't win a grand final like that.
that was a try,class act by both here not using it as an excuse,cleary outcouched bellyache tonight,props to him n well done panthers defensively superior overall,as a storm fan i knew the moment Nelson was disqualified that was it for the Storm as hes been in barnstrorming form,the fact that Tui only played 15 mins in his position proves they werent able to overcome Nelsons abscence,once again well done penrith,the best side tactically on the night won
WHAT A GAME! What an opponent Melbourne were! All year and will be in the years to come! Bellamy is a great as will be the entire Melbourne spine ! Harry was almost best on field imo. Great effort and I can’t explain how proud of the riff boys I am aye ! Thanks for a hellova ride

Honestly, it was a tough game. Storm had a phenomenal year, I mean they won the minor premiership and took 4 Dally M’s home, yeah winning the Grand Final would’ve been even greater but honestly they had a great year. This is the time to take a break, regroup and move onto 2025. I will still be supporting them.
As a Panthers fan you can't blame one player for a loss not over one mistake...you have 80mins to win.
Really haven't been a storm fan over the years but that's mainly due to the fact that they are a top tier team and deserve to be on the top stage which makes it harder to like them as an opponent supporter. Crazy game and little differences is all it added up to. So much ball in play time from both teams. Could not fault storm for not giving what they had. Panthers just had a bit more ball and that's how the score shows. Great season Storm so much respect!! Panthers congratulations on the win

Ive gotta say its really good to see Bellamy take the loss so humbly. I love the Broncos but a couple of press conferences with Kevvie felt a bit like bad sportsmanship. Especially with the try that was disallowed tonight, which I thought probably was a try, he just understands the team needed to do more to win and its not in his control. Honestly I think storm will win the comp next year. Penrith losing Luai is big but Fisher-Harris is gonna be hard to replace. Would be a miracle to make the 5-peat happen. But who knows, im never doubting the panthers again xD

Storm just weren't good enough. So many errors and down on the score board with 10 to go they played too safe. Penrith were beatable tonight, Melbourne didn't take their chance.

Storm fans crying 😅😅 you lost fair and square.. that was one of the best games of rugby league I’ve seen in years let alone finals, the pace and intensity was off the charts. Storm errors and forwards fitness lost it for them

Another game full of BS because of bad bunker ref , not a panthers or storm fan just a league fan. But i must say im very close to not watch the game anymore, the bunker needs to go if the TV viewers can see that ball hit the ground by the storm player , Y cant the bunker iv watch the nrl for 20+ years and that was a try.
