  • The pin deck lighting was starting to bug me more than usual so I decided to redo it entirely. I also soldered on camera for the first time. Turned out awful but it works lol. :)

    Do you prefer this longer quiet style video compared to my usual shorter videos with music?

      I do like the longer videos, and short videos as well. I like to see how you problem-solve and how you create these awesome mechanics. Keep up the great work!

      Oh yeah, if you want a tip on the soldering, you did a great first attempt on that. If you want to hide it if it is visible from the sides, or what not, put a bit of electrical tape to cover it up. But don't worry about it if it is hidden from sight. I would leave it like that, because these LED strip ends are a bit fragile Up to you, your preference. :)

      ;D, I also have a question that I asked you before but I’m asking again since I forgot F. How big is your lane (lane meaning the one where your paper anvillane is, and where you bowl on, and did you laminate the anvillane?) since my pinsetter doesn’t really fit and it’s a little bit too big. Please respond if you can and also what kind of finish is it? And is it sanded? thank you ;).

    This video has a similar feel to JK Brickworks' new GBC videos. Nice to see some updates on the pinsetter!

      Thanks! I might have been inspired by them haha, but I also wanted to try out something new where I show more of the process when making a change, as well as the problems I face during it. It results in longer videos (which I hope people like) as well as the removal of background music, which is more calming and people always hate my music anyways lol

    Finally a new video! Your lego pinsetter still amazes me, its definitely the best one I've seen yet! How's the distributor coming along?

    • @ThinkCleverAndSmart
      @ThinkCleverAndSmart  4 роки тому

      Thanks for your kind words! Distributor is coming along nicely, and I've had it semi working for a while. It's still a bit too many hiccups for my liking, but I'm ironing those out, and then it's done. But because I've worked on it for almost five months now, I thought it was time to do something else that can actually be a video, hence this. :)

    Did you ever consider using 2 4-Pin solderless led connectors to bridge the gap between the 2 led strips? They can be found online (such as Amazon) for quite cheap and I'm using a 3 pin version for the led strips that are part of the update in my next video to make multiple 180-degree connections along my led strip. Thought I'd ask just in case you plan to do something similar in the future...

    • @ThinkCleverAndSmart
      @ThinkCleverAndSmart  3 роки тому

      I did indeed consider that, and it’s similar to what I used to connect the pin deck lighting to the led wall and power supply. However I didn’t find any connectors small enough for the space inside the pin deck lighting module. It would have been much easier than soldering them though. Especially since I was a noob at soldering back then lol

      The strategy in Sweden is very different to other countries. Idk if it’s better or not. Anyways, the only change I do is that I live at my parents house (where the pinsetter is) and don’t meet other people closer than 2m. At least I get more time to work on the pinsetter now than before. :)

      I have nothing to do on my mini bowling center except some changes 1 day per week. Good thing for no boredom, I was chatting with several Communities or Group Chats especially the Mini Bowling Group Chat on Instagram, plus PinDominator and KyaRL are one of us in the group.
