I remember doing this journey about five times while being there in the 1970's during the US Canal Zone era. Enjoyed hearing the rail sounds of those old railway tracks back then.

I got to do it a couple times in 1974. What a monumental undertaking the whole canal project is. Just amazes me what little human beings can do.

Excellent video, although you missed the tunnel just before Miraflores Locks and of course Ft Clayton former HQs of US Army in the 1990's on the other side, but nonetheless a great video!

El pasaje es 20.00 dollar una via....venden fritura y bebida....todo ha aumentado desde los tiempos que yo recurdo de 1.50 primera classe etc......a veces cojim,os el diablo rojo Colon A Panama.......you era musico de los combos nacionales en esos tiempos, puedes escuchar mi video marca .... Verónica S el pasaje cuesta veinte dólares solo es para el turismos ya que las personas dejaron de usarlo como medio de transporte y si te lo recomiendo.

Man this is a third world train....
