Oh what a stunner! Very nice Dave.
Only now do I learn that this pan is made of wood. Ideally the box should have explanation of the type of wood, makes a huge difference. Thank you, it is indeed a lovely pen.
I don’t understand the Chinese reference with this pen? Phileas Fogg never entered China and Hong Kong was a British colony. I have the first Edition Legrand Solitaire however I will give this one a miss and see what the next two references have to offer. Ps. These are the new echo boxes which all the new pens come with unless it’s a limited edition. The first edition came in the square box and full outer box. I think MB has increased the prices of all its pens vastly while saving packaging and transport costs with these new boxes and cardboard sleeve.
I bought one although the roller ball. I doubt I would ever sell it but would you expect it to go up in value?
Some do but some don’t, it’s a bit of a lottery on whether they increase in value or not.
I possess a GvFC ebonite of the Bentley Series. I have it since a couple of years, the work they've done on it is nothing less than perfect, so I think in tis case will be the same. And of course the snow flake is a star, a hexagram to be exactly, the one that is on a flag, in the Middle East, the owners of Montblanc are members of that religion.
👌🏻👍🏻
