Hello friends,
Today I'm partnering with a great company called Distrokid to bring you a complete lesson on The Beatles 1967 classic "All You Need is Love." In this session we'll strengthen all areas of our playing as we tackle the tunes unique chord progressions, riffs and lead-lines. Be prepared for some tricky timing changes, as this tune bounces back and forth between 4/4 and 3/4 time. Let's get started

i started a beatles copy band in 1976 age12 with hands that were twisted and didant even open (playing so much so young opened my left hand,not "thank god",but thank the beatles) and having played there songs that long i must say i never played this one,but in my day we had to work songs out from the record and this is one of them that needs support (hard to sing on your own and get in the riffs) since you did the work of sorting for one guitar now i could do it,,thank you,,one day ill make a vid about learning guitar and how with my hands i prove anyone can do it,its only like ridding a bike,we all fell off at first,but we wanted it bad enough we keep trying,then one day we are 1 handed wondering why we thought it was so hard..take heart learners we never go backwards with music and as they say in liverpool YNWA

Greatings to one of the best teacher in the webs ! Just listened to the song and it appears that the chorus doesn't finish in 3/4. The G chord is played in 4/4 just like the others. Am I wrong?
+nicolepremier thanks so much Nicole! Just to be sure, I recounted it using the live performance, and also McCartneys performances. Yes, that last G chord is in 3/4. If it were 4/4, then those lyrics would be coming in a beat early. Thanks for your comment!
Thanks a lot for answering me! My name is Nicolas by the way;-) I listened to the version on the best of album #1. Still cannot hear the 3/4 on the chorus although on the verse it's clear. but you are certainly right, you are mich more skilled than I am. Keep up the good work, you're actually the only channel I am following and I will definitely help you on patreon when my finances are better.
Check that music sheet here the chorus ends up in 2/4 .maybe it depends on the version ;-)
