    If I recall correctly but correct me if I'm wrong. The origin of the phrase "Happy Life Happy Life" was often spoken by men who were oppressed on the job, working for minimal wages and as long as they were able to bring their check home to their domestic spouse to manage the household, she was allegedly happy which was supposed to reciprocate to the man, sounds like a formula for disaster. #Fences

Like the Manchurian Candidate, he just clicks right into his programming, its unfortunate because alot of "men" have had this programming and its very difficult to debug as for some, its built into their operating system so it cannot be removed and they will fight you on it.
    Its cringe to even watch this knowing the current state of events and he probably still feels the same way, sad.

    I met a woman a few months ago, that buried her husband after 60 years of marriage. I thought that was crazy. I have never met anyone that was married that long. I mentioned that I hope my marriage lasts that long. She asked if I wanted any advice, I said sure, it couldn't hurt. She told me, it takes work. I believe from her advice, that she was happy overall in her marriage. If she wasn't, I imagine the advice would've been different or more selfish. I only wish I would've asked her what does the "work" look like in practice.
    As for Tia, she is living the consequences of her decision. Far too many women believe that leaving their marriage will be the best decision they would ever make, only to find that it was the worst. I can't feel sorry for them.

      My mom and dad were married 60yrs. We buried my Dad this past summer. In all of my years I never heard them argue or talk down to each other. Despite this I know they had to work at it. We have to be realistic about relationships. Every relationship has its ups and downs. We are human and when you bring two ppl together it will require constant adjustments. My Dad always told me his number 1 concern was to make sure his wife and kids were well taken care of. Also, he showed me that all it takes is two ppl to make a commitment to work together for a common goal. I’m 10yrs in my marriage and I’m loving it all. The good the bad and the ugly. It’s called life.

    • @dtuitt79
      @dtuitt79 7 місяців тому +1

      @@memcrew1 Of course, but men aren't leaving marriages in the same numbers that women are now. I saw a clip of Tia talking about how she 'found the courage' to leave her marriage & love herself. Every woman in the audience was cheering. I have never seen a reaction like that for a man breaking up his family. As a married man & a father of 3 sons, shit like that scares me. I know nothing is promised, no matter how hard you work at it. That being said, to see someone celebrate & be celebrated for breaking up a family & home is just disgusting. There should be a certain amount of grief in divorce, for the people involved.

    As a man don’t fall for the happy wife happy life nonsense. Be a man and take care of your responsibilities. Then if your wife is happy about that and if she isn’t happy about that let her find her own happiness cause you will find out you can’t satisfy the unsatisfiable in my opinion. You will be wasting you time and money cause what you are busting your tail for she will give it to someone making no effort in my opinion. Work hard and be a good man and leave the rest to God.

    Tia came into the marriage still thinking like a girlfriend then a wife. That being said she did not transform into a wife of values and that being said she responds to her problems of the relationship like a girlfriend then a wife this is why a lot of women getting to marriage for the wrong reason because they come in with fairy tales and not come into the marriage not understanding their purpose in a marriage as a wife roll. This is why she came out of her marriage thinking about happiness like a little child who wants a toy at 7 years old and she based her marriage around feelings and happiness more than her husband this is a recipe for failures for all women who come into a marriage thinking like this because marriage is a business your feelings and happiness is going to be your failure and you will start developing selfishness in your marriage because you think it's the man's responsibility to sustain all your happiness and that's not his responsibility he's on responsible for 10% happiness the other 90 you're responsible for your own end of story

    Look at their body language. they are reading a script they don't believe in, poor acting. Her demeanor vs his, suggests she likes to make all the decisions, her way as if she's still the 5-year-old little girl who's been told she's the princess and he the frog.

    He looked absolutely miserable. Not sure what their issues were. Seems they were going through a tough session of disconnect and was limping along for the kids and maybe that’s what kept them going for a while.
