I must say I worry more about the world critizising Hatsumi for whatever he does and not even being concrete about what it is they think he´s doing so horribly wrong. Guess that´s the destiny for all of us. Not even if we do everything right will the world accept it. But it´s admirable that both he as the main representative for ninjutsu and the Kung Fu world too doesn´t reply to all people´s negativity towards them. It´s a waste of energy I know and it´s impossible to be friends with everyone. Yet I wonder how Hatsumi and what he stands for can generate so much hate. Once people liked and admired ninjutsu. Now they hate it as never before, and Hatsumi haven´t even done anything to create this hatred. Just like once Jesus Christ and Robin Hood ninjas have become the target of hatred because of their belief and standpoints in life. And all these lies about Hatsumi not having a lineage etc. etc.
There are far more embarrassing things that bujinkan needs to worry about ie people not training anywhere near realistic, the bujinkan tsuki, and after a resent trip to the hombu dojo watching people basically larping. I trained with Brin in the 90s, liked what he does , and dont really care about the other stuff outside of that
