OMG Wendy, I have had to learn this a hundred times. Of course just for tests, then i don't see it again for awhile..so I forget it again. I was falling asleep on other sites trying to do my refresher. Found you and you woke me up! Thanks for giving such a dry topic a refreshing spin.
i love your lectures they always break large concepts up into simple ideas. I do have one question though, if we already had low sodium levels in the filtrate passing through the distal convoluted tubule, why are we increasing Aldosterone secretion if it's just gong to take more sodium out of the filtrate? what does increasing sodium levels in the blood (via sodium channels) have to do with increasing blood pressure? Any help is appreciated!
i guess im asking randomly but does anybody know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly forgot my account password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me.
Love your lectures.. Question on this one: Does the potassium secretion effect of Aldosterone affect H+ ion reabsorption? Or is H+ ion handling essentially unaffected by Aldosterone?
Erm.. doesn't low sodium mean high blood pressure as there is more water present in blood? Putting more sodium in the blood will lower blood pressure. The next lecture shows ADH puts more water in the blood to raise blood pressure.
Ur smiles and laughs and humour and geniusness is making me fall in love with you, Thank you
you never cease to make me giggle you are by far the best professor I have had the privilege of coming across.
I seem to make myself giggle a lot too. Glad this stuff helps!

I appreciate how you go back over things
I love your lectures! Thank you for making it so much easier to learn!!! You have NO idea how much I was breaking my head trying to understand RAAS!

Love your lectures..

I have high aldosterone. Young hypertensive, low potassium 3.0+. Should I eat less salt or normal intake?

I am wondering how you do these lectures? Smartboard? I have taught for a while and wish I had your setup.
So...does ADH cause vasodilation ALL of the time?
She is great! I love her lecture...
Wendy I love you.
