I live on Cheyenne mountain near the state park and I love it. driving up the mountain coming home everyday is incredible. We see herds of deer and turkeys daily, with some mountain lions and bears very occasionally. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. The views and feel of the neighborhood are just perfect.
You definitely picked a great spot, the views over in that are area unmatched!! That's crazy that there are wild turkeys! Just curious, did you recently move to the area? If so, would there have been any info that would have been helpful for you to know before hand?
@@LivingInCOSpringsColoradoI moved to Colorado about a year ago but only moved up onto the mountain in August. I’d say the big thing about living on the mountain is you HAVE to have a 4WD or AWD car. When it snows heavily or freezes over it’s impossible to get up with a standard RWD car. Other than that, just be prepared for darkness early because the mountain casts such a shadow. We love it on the mountain and would recommend it to anybody!

Love Old Colorado City and Slice 420 is nummy
Exceptional video.
You used some creative words to describe Old Colorado city. My one word would be "homelessness".
