I have a 2014 US Fiesta ST on stage two Cobb tune, short shift kit rear Cobb motor mount, 3” MBPR exhaust and many visual mods with sticky Michelin tires, and on my 6th set of tires at 96,000 miles, that’s how hard I drive it, my friends can’t believe I still have the stock clutch, I’m 73 years young and have had 14 cars & 9 Motorcycles, and by far this is the most fun I’ve ever had Driving, just like you, this car puts the biggest smile on my face every time I hit that start button it never gets old. I'm actually picking up a 2017 ST-3 tmr afternoon with the intention of getting a Pumaspeed 3R power upgrade down the line lol, nice to see a glimpse of what i'll be getting :D
bought this car with fairly low mileage 3 weeks ago as my first car and absolutely love it, definitely like how this car was done, might consider doing something similar when i'm a bit more familiar with the car
Not as common over here in the US but i had my for 5 years and 155k miles on it before i sold it. Had an x37 on it for 70k miles, an rt330 for 10k and a US made Whoosh (similar size to x47 i guess) for another 10k. Loved that car from the age of 32 -37 lol
call brentacre, i was getting quotes for 3k at 20 years old, brentacre quoted me 1.7k - that said you should be careful because the car got stolen 1 month after purchase
I pay £800 for mine I’m 23 with 4 years NC. I wanted one when I first started driving and I was quoted £3600 with a black box so I waited 3 years and paid £1200 without a black box. And I live in a bad area for insurance.
Always been on the fence about going any further than just my tubo back, intercooler, and tune. And yeah I think this is simply what the next step should be. Debating just dropping the drivetrain and going for LSD and hybrid in one swing.
they are perfect handling wise from the factory but, those factory suspension bushings don't last long.. as soon as they start going its all over and the front and rear shocks go all around the same time, 80 - 100k kilometers. you need powerflex bushings all round and best to have a set of good coilovers rather than replacing the shocks with the crappy genuine ones.
I've still got my mk7 zetec s tdci sort of its currently sat in a garage possibly needing a new engine due to the injectors being broken in the engine 🙃 other than that thay are fantastic cars
I’ve got a st200 with pumaspeed and very fun car to drive even with a whooping power of 400hp with there new x58eve2 turbo very fast and fun to drive I love mine

That's what's holding me back. I fancy my first turbocharged hot hatch, after coming from unique cars such as honda prelude 2.2/accord type R These are everywhere.... I guess there is pros to that but I dont know
@@anthonybelton-ford3124 Ever thought about sticking with Honda, grabbing something like an FN2 and boosting it? I know a lad whos supercharged his and it flies. FN2 costs about 4k, itl still work out cheaper than an ST. I love the Accords, but the mk6's are rot boxes underneath. Mk7 Euro R would be 👌 but still N/A & not a hatch.

@@anthonybelton-ford3124 a mk7 ST is good daily, decent power and decent mileage, there's a reason you see then everywhere, because there fun, cheap, reliable(not the 1.0 ecoboost though) and economical but if you can afford to have a bigger more powerful daily I would go for that , I'd love a 5cylinder Volvo estate for example
Every car video is ‘why you should buy this’ not once do you give any negative feedback on the cars you review either. It’s always exaggerated hype on the performance and ‘how cheap’ the insurance is.
I’ve had one since 2016 and have an x47 on it and haven’t had a single issue aside from an expansion tank replacement. 40k miles on the hybrid turbo and still kicking. These cars have hype for a reason.
Yeah we can I have a stage 2 gonna get it stage 3 next year. Most young people live at home with around £500-£1000 of disposable income, it’s all just priorities.

Fiestas are way to common these days I have never got the hype about them. I'd rather save up abit more for something a bit more special the interiors look shit and the cars them selves aren't particularly exciting to look at.

The mk7 dashboard was just a disgusting amount of buttons on the dash just looked cluttered. The amount people spend on them could buy a proper hot hatch low mileage Renault trophy-R with cup chassis or even a older civic type R just way better for the price.

They are quite awesome cars to drive, very fun and nippy around corners! Also, easy to modify and inexpensive compared to other cars in this caliber. Have you driven one by any chance? They are extremely fun to drive and maybe with a few exterior mods some do look quite exciting to look at. I own a black one and wow I get attention everywhere I go with it. Definitely a head turner but then again mine is not stock and modified inside out

i just did a quote on a stock st for me and got quoted £767 at 19. and not just the one quote i had loads all in the same round area.

My mate has a Stage 3.5 Peron ST it is insane about 360bhp with MK3 Focus RS exhausts at the back
I had with stock engine 383hp with pumaspeed and with x57r turbo I had 365hp with the x57 turbo and that was insane to driver
