- Today's daily update video from South Africa is from 9 July 2024. In this video, we start with the rough seas in Cape Town in South Africa today. We then take you to witness the power of nature with stormy seas at Big Bay in Bloubergstrand and Eersteriviersrtrand. Then the refreshing sight of heavy rain in Noordhoek. We also show you the icy and frost conditions around Ladybrand in the Free State Province. Then, we stop at Kandirri Game Lodge between Bloemfontein and Kimberley, a place of tranquillity and beauty. Look for animals at night in the Addo National Park. We visited several more places across South Africa, each with its unique charm and beauty.

Better the snow than the rain and rivers in full flow. They wash away any topsoil unfortunately while the snow, as it melts will go down into the earth. My prayers are with everyone affected by the rains and flooding, being winter, cold with wet is not good. 😔

Thanks for video of Saldanha. We lived there 30 years ago as my hubby loved sea, fishing & wild camping along West Coast. It feels like im driving with him again down to harbour where he would launch his boat. Good memories of area & people.

Not sure who is more brave in this video the surfers or the homeowners who stay right there virtually in the ocean. Some of my worst nightmares include staying in houses like that with tsunami waves approaching. Insurance must be substantial lol

lf the fate of the people living in informal settlements of Khayelitsha Mbekweni Paarl ,Stellenbosch Houtbay lmizamo Yethu, Fishhook Masiphumelele and all the other scores of informal settlements in the peninsula are not shown it means we really dont care for the poor we profess to love. DA must do something to alleviate their suffering. Give these people proper dignified houses. Oppenheimer has the money to divide us to many parties but cannot give us houses to have everyone in dignified living. This can be done in less than one years worth of diamonds he gets in our land.
