Getting this recommended to me six years later (post ep4 FATWS, before Black Widow) is a beautiful reminder of where we've been and just how far we've come. Also that this trailer was EXTREMELY good and that the date at the end of the trailer used to mean something.

When the competitions are the likes of "X-Men: Apocalypse" and "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" (Although technically, it's a spring movie), it's not that hard to come out on top
Lol I'd have to disagree, Civil War is a great movie regardless of other superhero movies this summer. Even if you take the 'super' out of the heroes in this movie, it would still work because it has a strong story that flows with the motivations of its characters.

Watched it last night - did not disappoint
It was way more than what I thought it would be
3 years later and still get goosebumps
Some little details I've noticed:
1. at 1:23 you can see Agent 13 and possibly Martin Freeman's character standing right next to her
2. 1:42 I can't quite put my finger on it, but I swear Black Widow is looking a bit differently [not her costume, but her herself] than she has in the past
3. 1:43 what could IFID mean? Based on the logo I'm assuming it has something to do with Wakanda

Superheroes in the movies go through suits faster than The Hulk goes through shirts. Every suit seems to last maybe one whole movie at best; usually not even that long. Now that I think about it, Widow might be the only exception to that. I could be wrong, but I think she had the same suit in all of her appearances up until AoU when everyone's suit was upgraded by Tony.

It was Thanksgiving Day, 2015. I was 12 years old. My family and I had just finished eating a big Thanksgiving lunch, and we were putting up our Christmas decorations together. Then my brother gave the word. The first trailer for Captain America: Civil War was out. And I watched two best friends be torn apart, and two best friends attack each other ferociously. I knew this was going to be one of the most emotionally intense MCU of all time, if not the most, at its time, at least.
Then on May 7, 2016, my dad, my sister, and I saw it in theaters. And thus, I watched one of the best sad movies with a sad ending (and I HATE sad endings) that I ever watched.
Today marks the 8 year anniversary of this movie’s release. Man the amount of things that have happened between then and now.
Okay that Black Panther suit looks WAYYYY better than it did in the leaked set photos...

Civil war is that great thin line between thriller drama and action superhero it has the best bits of winter soldier and team up avenger movies it's the best movie in the mcu endgame came close but not that much in my opinion

He wasn't in the first Avengers for whatever reason, they made him Iron Patriot in Iron Man 3 for no reason, and he was in Age of Ultron for all of five minutes. It'd be the culmination of Marvel's failure to translate an awesome character from the comics to the movies if they killed him off here.
