    I could tell that it was extremely fucking hard for you to fight the muscle memory of flipping the guitar over your shoulder going into that “don’t you know that” chug chuggggg breakdown lmao 😭😭😭 oh the good days
    You were the best guitarist emmure ever had, Josh Travis is an astounding musician as well but he will forever and always be Danza to me. Just like to me you will forever and always be emmure. Seeing this brings back memories from the 5-6 times I saw yall between goodbye to the gallows and respect issue tour cycles.
    I have fond memories of hanging out with the guitarist of my old band when yall dropped the promo shots for TRI and we flipped shit that y’all got Perc Angle on the cover
    🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
    Thanks for the forever memories dude, glad to see you’re still playing guitar

      @@jessekjamzwish id had the chance to open for yall back in the day but we didn’t work with the promoter who would book yall in our city as the two bands i performed live in were of the opinion that, that “company” was particularly evil and couldn’t care less about the local talent… but honestly this far removed from it I’ve learned that’s just promoters in general, they more often than not only care about the bottom line and making money, stepping on people to get to the top is par for the course to become an “event promoter//producer//manager”
      I’m not bitter there just has to be a better model 🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️
      I do miss the old days though, back then when it was common to go to shows in closed down movie theaters, old restaurants, vfw’s, skate parks, storage units, peoples houses, Dennys, etc. lol if it had electric hookups or space for a generator it was gonna have metal bands playing in or at it lol

Not to get too personal as I've read reports but you and Frankie go way back and I'm curious if you both are on a talking basis at all as it's been a few years since your departure. Hey, Jessie, this is unrelated to this video, but it is related to this album. What is going on during the track Travis Bickle? I hear the heartbeat, but I also hear these other kind of scratchy sounds. I hear the flatline at the end. I'm not sure if you're going to talk about this when you do your 2 part series or if you're not but I figured that I would ask because I wanna know what the back story is with that track. Also, the outro at the end of When Everything Goes Wrong Take The Easy Way Out, I hear an engine, and I think a train horn. What was the inspiration for these two tracks? They both add lots of depth to the album for me, especially the electronic drum and bass beat at the end of the album, gives me big chills and ties that album up perfectly. Very interested to know anything about that stuff. Thanks if you've got the time to reply! Love your videos and your music hope you keep going.

    • @jessekjamz
      @jessekjamz  2 місяці тому +1

      Yeah man! These are great questions bur unfortunately the song titles, meanings, lyrics and some album content I did not create or write so I just cannot answer it sadly. Frank can give a thorough explanation to it all! The train hitting the stalled out car on the tracks jamming the “rap beat” version of the into to the album was something to tie the end to the beginning almost in a loop (as far as i remember!)🎉

    i can't even imagine how crazy it must have been trying to learn these parts and divide them between two guitars over practices and jam sessions. On the album it just sounded low asf. I never realized how technical it was. This shit is borderline mathcore at some spots. Can't wait for the new vids. That timeline series is gonna be a sick one.
