"Girl groups literally make kpop" PREACH
So here's a description of the MV so you can fully understand it😂😂
-Sooooo in the beginning of the MV the girls seem tired and are sprawled across the floor, this is because it's the day after the full moon which is when they kill a pizza boy. This begins their next killing cycle.
-The girls are seen running through the house child like and very fake like, this is because they are practicing for their next kill, they are essentially choreographing how things will play out. In this time you can also see a crescent moon as the girls run outside of the house (this just shows that it's some other time in the month and gives us a better understanding of time).
-The girls practice shooting and practicing at another member....but they miss, however as Yeri holds an apple, Wendy gets a perfect shot through the apple. This shows that the girls are amazing shots but they practice to miss instead of hit.
-during this practice time, they order pizza from the same place, this is when they decide on their next victim and get him familiar with the members (you Can also see cases of other pizza boy shirts as they run through the house with the current victim)
-so eventually the night of the full moon comes and the guy is now comfortable with the girls playing around the house with them and such...so as the clock strikes twelve it's their cue to put their plan in full action and begin the final stage. As a member runs out the house with the victim (different each time because it shows that they rotate each month who does the killing, and they are sure each time that the member will get the kill) it gives the pizza boy false hope that he is safe with this member and that the others are crazy...boy is he wrong
-at the end the pizza boy thought he got away and tries to call someone, but on the side you can see a poster that says "Missing Pizza Boys" and has a lot of pictures of pizza boys....insinuating they've killed a lot and have still gotten away with it. The phone doesn't pick up and Irene gets out the car (lookin like snack😍) and we know they get the kill by the ending scene.
-conclusion: they are crazy psycho murderers that seem to have an affinity for pizza boys and killing them each month
Killing is a game to them and they're really good at that game....
This was Red Velvet's best concept to date since Dumb Dumb era. But I honestly still miss their velvet days because Automatic snatched my soul so hard, there isn't a day that goes by the song is not played at least twice a day.

Time Slip and Automatic and Dumb Dumb are my fav tracks to this day, but I also love Red Flavor and Peek-A-Boo and Look!
Red Velvet is amazing Ni matter the concept, but that velvet side takes me back to 90's R&B/Soul days!

yes cortney girl groups are really everything and MAKE kpop!! idc what anyone says. i can't stand people who don't give girl groups a chance it's the saddest thing ever. red velvet really never disappoints and their album is so good!!
Luckily there are different types of fans; yeah many mainly focus on boygroups, some mix it all up, but for example I personally dig the girlgroups way more than the boygroups. I'm just not as easily wowed by bgs than by ggs I don't know. The only boygroups I really follow are EXO and BTS but I stan my girlgroups HARD. Btw Red velvet did such a great job with this comeback; the concept, song, MV, the entire album.... GOSH I love these girls

I do the same thing! Most boy groups seem to stick to one genre, or it feels like they're trying too hard. My main BG is SHINee, while my GG list is far more expansive.
Wow, same lol. Except the only guy group I really stan is Seventeen and I do listen to EXO and BTS. It could be just because my first kpop group was SNSD but girl groups are just more appealing to me and always will be.
My girl group stans were more expansive, but with the lost of so many 2nd generation girl groups I only really like a few newer girl groups, Red Velvet being one of them. My fav girl groups were groups like 4minute, 2ne1, WG, and Kara which are no more. All that's left of my 2nd generation girl groups is SNSD and BEG. After School has been in limbo so long that they are probably not ever coming back and Miss A is down to 2 members so they are basically done. Secret is in limbo too and Sistar is also gone. I do like Girls Day so luckily they are still around. I had a good mixture of equal stanning btwn boy and girl groups, but since I tend to love veteran groups more and male groups still have tons of veteran groups I listen more to male groups as of right now. I will admit I am getting tired of male groups all doing the same concept (the bad boy concept especially), but thankfully there are groups like Infinite, Shinee, Vixx, Super Junior, KNK, Highlight, BTOB who don't do those types of concepts so there is still variety in male groups, just not in the newer ones.

Okay but, off all the girl groups in this generation, I truly believe that Red Velvet truly has the best albums. Like, I have yet to listen to one of their albums where the songs are not high quality and addictive.

I had to watch the MV a couple of times to notice the missing delivery boy notices on the pay phone, the stacks of pizza boxes in their house and the shirts they'd already collected when running and playing with the guy.

I was one of those who were only into guy groups, then I discovered Girls Generation and Twice and Red Velvet and lost my shit! I was so missing out! Then I got into Miss A, 4 Minute, and other groups and now I am no longer prejudice! So much good music all around in Kpop!
And people really need to stop sleeping on Hoody! She's a solo female vocalist, but she's soooo amazing and sooooo underrated!
1. This song SLAYED. MY. ENTIRE. EXISTENCE YASSS GAWD HENNY YASSS, etc. and 2. What I think you were trying to say about boy vs. girl groups is...whether the boy group-only stans admit it or not, girl groups have been monumental to making K-pop the successful, international, commercial product that it is - and has allowed it to thrive on an international level for all these years. (see: Girls' Generation and beyond). Also the "girl group" sound and aesthetic is an integral piece to the k-pop formula. it just is tbh.

The only thing that I wish about girl groups is that I would love to see the girls dance harder choreos, because many times that makes them seem inferior to boy groups WHICH THEY ARE NOT. It's just the sexist culture that makes them act all cute instead of showing them kicking ass. Idk if I'm being clear or not.

Anthony Azuike Anthony Azuike ....umm they only left SM not SNSD. All 3 of them have confirmed that they are still in SNSD and theyre just not in SM. Another group that is like this is Shinhwa where all the members were under individual different agencies for their solo stuff but the group was managed by the main label.
