As much as I want that to happen I don't think the Lakers can. Lebron & AD ain't enough for that many games. It's just the two of them being the tanks. Plus, no NBA team can convincingly beat the Nuggets in their home court. Murray, Porter, and Gordon makes the most 3s in their territory.

If they don't trust Lebron James when he's literally screaming at them to, what's the point in him playing hard at all? They need every basket and every call to be correct in order to beat Denver. Lebron probably considered the fact that they haven't been good at keeping leads against Denver. Sometimes you need to spend those resources early to keep the lead strong before it gets too late to claw your way back. There might not have been another opportunity as good as this one to challenge.
