Thanks for posting this. Rochester had a first rate choir in those days.
A lovely service. I remember playing one of Ashfield's string quartets in the 90s - we may have given the first performance of it - and he came to rehearsals. A modest and charming man who wrote accessible, agreeable music as this recording shows.
