The third installment in the "Friday the 13th" sees Jason continue to avenge his mother by killing a new set of young adults who come into the lakefront property called Higgins Haven.
Friday the 13th, part III picks up on the day after the carnage of the previous film, with homicidal maniac Jason Voorhees (Richard Brooker) stealing some clothes and killing a local store owner. Meanwhile, Chris (Dana Kimmell) and her sometimes boyfriend, Rick (Paul Kratka), are hosting a group of teenage friends at Chris' lake house. Despite a run-in with a local biker gang, they enjoy an amiable weekend together -- that is, until Jason begins knocking off kids and bikers alike.

Watch the beginning when Jason is walking around the clothes line @ the store. The clothes are on the clothes line in one shot with Jason and in the next they are gone and so is Jason. Meaning Jason is wearing Harold's freshly washed clothes in this one.
Such a sick scene! This was the point in F13 history, in which Jason is officially a “bad a55”, dispatching a motorcycle gang trying to burn down his hideout.

Loco's death sequence is so underrated to me, from the kill itself to his reaction, which scared me immensely when I first saw it.
Spoiler: Ali didn't die in this scene. In the climax, Ali revives and saves the life of final girl Chris by attacking Jason again, only to be killed for good this time but allowed Chris to take an axe and kill Jason (at least for this movie).

credit to the actor playing Ali for going all spastic after each blow by Jason. indeed it’s a highly visceral scene, despite the lack of gore?

Ali had a golden opportunity to kill Jason big time had he not hesitated for too long. The fear in his eyes when he saw Jason's face said it all right there which was the main reason for the swing and miss.
It looked as though Ali was searching for a window to open in the horse stall to escape(just like in the F13 The Game) but no dice, and was trapped. He gave Jason a good run for his money…..twice!!!

I envy u lol I saw it in early 2000s when I rented it from a local video store but I think a drive in theatre experience is the best top notch old fashion way to view it.
