This got me thinking, imagine going through the DLC and if there is a new weapon type like great flail or throwing chakrams, invading with those right after your first play through with invisible weapon! If you play with it in your playthrough to be familiar with the move set, just think how many people will have no idea what they're facing or what the move set is.
It never ceases to surprise me at how many players in this game failing to learn from their mistakes. The wizard spamming the Moonlight Greatsword ice wave attack was a perfect example.
Most likely due to those mistakes only apply to pvp. You can and probably majority of the people will monkey mash L2 weapon art or spamming sorceries to trivialize the whole game.
Maybe because being invaded is, but it's design, a surprise encounter? This dude is probably just trying to have fun with his friend, and pays no heed to pvp stuff. There's a massive selection bias on that an invader is both predisposed to being better at fighting players and also for having a build suited for pvp. So, despite a numbers disadvantage (which could easily be turned on its head given enemies) invaders are sorta predisposed to defeat their target.
i think that there's also one point about this buff that a lot of people overlook because it doesnt make a huge splash but definately can give you the upper edge. That is: even if an oponent knows what class of weapon you have, they dont know which one. so buffable weapons with unique moves like rogier's rapier can really throw them off. they think they are fighting a normal rapier until they take a charged double thrust to the face.
That dude 2nd from the last invasion saving his teammate at the expense of his rune arc is the goat. He was swooping in like batman thwarting chases full combos. 😂
I saw this video a few days ago and remember you saying you didn't like how they could see your katana sheath. Malenia's sword has deceptive range and no sheath to give it away. Just thought I'd mention it in case you ever want to revisit this or if anyone else is interested. I didn't think of it when I first watched the video because I never use her sword
Ayoo 😂this is the day when Chase woke up and thought: "Why would I "need" weapons when I can flail my fists in their general direction?"🤣 You simply never fail to amaze and deliver, PursueTheSibling! 💪
Chase, Was thinking that you could put on the whip the ash of war that raises the damage of your next attack (determination, I think) and have an off-hand weapon for the Endure one.
For PvE, I think it might be fun if the unseen blade temporarily made the weapon weight 0. So along with Vyke's Dragonbolt, we can turn our character temporarily Light Load. It's not that useful, but kinda interesting roleplaying-wise.
Have you tried the bloody broom of flaming death? A.K.A. Bloodflame Blade with Prelate's Charge? Considering you have thousands of hours in this game, you probably have. Idk how it goes on PvP, but it's such a fun build on PvE
Hey Chase, here's an idea. Why not try pvp'ing with some jars and the jar head / companion jar talisman? With the right setup, those fire and academy ritual pot jars can do some absolutely cracked (get it? :P) damage. Check it out!
I have a question for u chase, and for everyone else who can answer, since u change ur stats so much im guessing u don’t go out and get a larval tear everytime, so do u just have a saved file with a complete character that has a larval rear and you keep going back to it? Or is it something else u do ?
... mate, you're invading co-opers, I doubt anybody is like "oh this invader with the invisible weapon has a sheath, that means he has a Katana" they're probably on voice chat and like "aww shit, somebody invaded let's try to gank him otherwise we'll just resummon"
2:51 either he’s stupid or very ignorant, he’s seen how doing that is a stupid choice that led to his companions death but still did it even when it was very clear that chase wanted him to do it💀
Didn’t see this one coming
I see what you did here
@@luke-il5nr no you don't
Totally beat me to it! Lol
OHHHHHH
I didn’t see what you did there 😂😂🗿🫴
"Aw my weapon is visible, now you know how it works"
That dude still had no idea what was happening
"Alright, katana, it is. You guys don't know what I have this time."
*6 foot katana sheath trailing behind him* 😂
I can hear the “EXUCALIBAAAH”
I was looking for a Fate refrence in the comments, was not disapointed. XD
same
I love this, and I'm mad that the closest excalibur sword in the game can't be enchanted with this spell smh
now this is the true saber cosplay lol

Man will use anything except St.Trinas torch. Next vid he’ll have a fist only run.
no one gives a shit about watching him poke people with a torch. Just you 4 or 5 goobers every video

I think this is the only live commentary PVP video I've seen that wasn't just loaded with vulgar language. I appreciate that, thank you.
Reminding you not to use St Trina’s anything.
St Trina's balls
This guy gets it.
reverse psychology
A very moonslasher thing to say

PvE doesn't punish you hard enough for spamming attacks. I too spam blasphemous blade because it works
Ah yes, the definition of insanity, trying the same thing and expecting different results!

The day can only get worse after you take a charged double thrust to the face.
When I saw the phantom using hidden weapon on the other video it made me think it would make for really funny invasions lol
“Stop throwing rocks at me, it’s dishonest” while using a strategy that hides his intentions 😊
It would be fun to see an invisible flicking finger.
That dude 2nd from the last invasion saving his teammate at the expense of his rune arc is the goat. He was swooping in like batman thwarting chases full combos. 😂
Unseen blade with fist weapons would be funny, it would actually look like you’re unarmed
I didn’t know John Cena was a weapon in Elden Ring
There is no reason for this spell to exist other than trolling in pvp. That's awesome.
sometimes phantoms that stand still are the scariest, you have no idea what otherworldly power they're charging up
Walking around with no armor and seemingly unarmed will catch a lot of people off guard lol
Heres an idea: invisible parry?
Imagine finally getting the St. Trina's torch video but it's unseen blade day
Whip with unseen blade is devious asf

Makes for a fun Arthur Pendragon from the FATE series cosplay build, especially when you use Carian Grandeur.
Wow, that came out of nowhere. Excellent job! I wonder how many supposedly “bad” weapons and spells can Chase turn into a solid build.
Again with the most random and unsuspected combination just ending up being super effective at catching people off guard.
My first thought when I saw the title of the video was "Oh that's just evil!"
The amount of content you put out is just so damn good! Keep it up bro!
I'm watching every single upload of yours without fail! >:)
Best Daily Content Strikes Again ✨
This worked wonders for me in DS1 with weapons like the Large Club!
Are you able to use this spell on any throwable dlc weapons, like the Cirques?
chase :"hehe he doesn't know what wapon i have hehehe"
giant ass scabbard: " bruh.."
It's so satisfying to see those gank spammers get cooked so expeditiously.
This episode was inspired. love the nuance of the invisible weapons!
They don't know what katana he's using but the huge sheathe is a clue @6:50
Ayoo 😂this is the day when Chase woke up and thought: "Why would I "need" weapons when I can flail my fists in their general direction?"🤣

Unseen Blade is going to be funny with DLC weapons, too 👀
13:49 it showed up about 16 seconds before you killed that host. Chase does not look at his character during invasions, noted.
you are right i definitely focus more on my opponent than my own character lol i did not notice it had ended
this is the most diabolical build ive ever seen from you, chase xD. keep it up!!!
Use it with giant crusher and lions claw next time lol
Chase, Was thinking that you could put on the whip the ash of war that raises the damage of your next attack (determination, I think) and have an off-hand weapon for the Endure one.
An Artoria cosplay would be really nice.
Love seeing these videos before i go to sleep 🥱❤
They cant see the weapon but they can see the giant Katana Sheth
Would love to see a tips and tricks video for invasions from you

"the unseen blade is the deadliest"
St. Trina’s Torch is even more unseen by Chase.
Should do this with Giant Crusher + Prelate’s Charge.
Have you tried the bloody broom of flaming death? A.K.A. Bloodflame Blade with Prelate's Charge? Considering you have thousands of hours in this game, you probably have. Idk how it goes on PvP, but it's such a fun build on PvE
Unseen blade + St. Trina's torch = Ultimate true combo
I'd like to see you do some Taunter's tongue with the Witching Branch.
Wait does the sentry torch (a torch that revals invisible things) work against you?
Can you try something with black flame blade? I know its not good but maybe you can cook with it!
Love your content ❤
the flowing weapons.
The sheath is still visible on katana weapons if people are paying attention they’ll know what weapon you’re using oof
Space the Invisible
Guard the Unblockable
ROW ROW FIGHT THE POWA
All builds with unseen blade will be coming in from the top ropes cause they're JOHN CENA!
THE WHAT. No idea this spell existed
Local crazy person in the wrong place at the wrong time. People spontaneously die around them!!
I wonder how many people thought you were hacking because they didn’t know what this spell does lol
Lady in armor got me like 👉👈
yoo how do u get your bleed damage to be so manageable? I feel that bleed procs tend to be really hard hitting.
what level are people ending at for invasions like this?
This episode sponsored by JOHN CENA
On a normal person this would not be scary. With you though, I am scared lol
with the katana you can see the sheath xD
Hey Chase, here's an idea. Why not try pvp'ing with some jars and the jar head / companion jar talisman? With the right setup, those fire and academy ritual pot jars can do some absolutely cracked (get it? :P) damage. Check it out!
Bro just weird a giant crusher and make it invisible 😂

Is as visible as the St. Tirina weapon showcase.
The unseen blade is the deadliest
Make a dragonscale sword build
Now Imagine putting it on St trinas torch 😎
I have a question for u chase, and for everyone else who can answer, since u change ur stats so much im guessing u don’t go out and get a larval tear everytime, so do u just have a saved file with a complete character that has a larval rear and you keep going back to it? How are your weapons so highly leveled
Pretty sure Chase is just scared of St. Trina at this point. 😂
Naked misericorde and hidden weapon + blue dancer & dagger & ritual sword & old lord talismans

2:51 either he’s stupid or very ignorant, he’s seen how doing that is a stupid choice that led to his companions death but still did it even when it was very clear that chase wanted him to do it💀
im still surprised by the fact of the average elden ring player only know to press LT/L2
im 10 seconds in but i bet this was surpisingly powerful, ah i miss ds2 pvp
funny how you can use invisible blade with the katana and the sheathe gives it away. bummer.
They Never new what hit um
if this dude invades me I just alt f4
Wait... is the bro cosplaying as Saber?
