Such a great job with the van build. Give yourself a pat on the back. Look forward to your next video. You have a nice UA-cam channel and I enjoy your content.
Gutted the series is finished, all good things come to an end I guess. Loved the series and what you’ve done to the vans. Team Luton for the win, just. 👍🏼👍🏼
Exactly, all good things have to come to an end (who knows what’s in the pipeline for our next build idea!). Can’t argue with any Team Lutoner’s, it’s one hell of a build from Nicky! 👀
Wow, you made it look so easy! 😂 If only, but surely that has to be one of the best, most straightforward, and inspiring conversion/build vlogs out! You and Harri have done a cracking job of making a tiny home on wheels, and showing the world how to do it with a minimum of fuss ans hassle! 🎉 Here's to many adVANtures to come!! 😊❤
Aw thank you Kit! Your words always motivate us and make us feel so great, so thank you!!🥰 we can’t wait to take you on our first travel Vlog (hopefully coming out next Sunday!) 🥰💖
You two are just immense 💪 Shrunken down and squeezed into 10mins shows just what it takes to build a van!! And a bloody nice van it is 😍 be very proud of yourselves and enjoy your travels👌 im extremely jealous lol Luton looks amazing 👏
Appreciate you, as always, Lee, we’re definitely chuffed with our achievements on this van, and are already loving the travelling! Our first Vlog of life inside the Luton will be out this Sunday, so we’ll get you fully up to date then!! 😄🙌🏻
Sorry we're late to the party this week, albeit you know why🤣Luton is looking INSAAANNEE! Although it defo needs a name so Hattie can have a buddy🚚love you guys 🥰
Happy New Years Guy's! You asked at the start what brought me to this video. Well I live here in Sweden and I'm 60 next year. And I plan to build a Luton van (we called them skapbil) in the spring. So I have been on YT for about 2 years getting a bucket load of info for my build. (including trying to stay awake watching Greg Virgoe's channel who no one can do without). And you 2 guy's are a lot of fun! But guy's. Really.... Tesco Baked Beans?? Your Brits. It has to be Heinz guy's!! Your van build is almost how I would do it. Apart from that I plan to take the roof off 100% and re-frame a new one has its only fibreglass. And build a more stable roof that I can also go up on and use has a deck area and watch the sun go down with a beer or 3 etc. And also extend it over the cab area and use that space inside for storage or for sleeping. Can't wait for your New Year's projects.
Big Jimbo in the house! Just checking in as a representative of team Sprinter to say well done to opposition and be graceful in defeat. 😂😂 Seriously guys you’ve inspired me to save some coin and buy a van and have a go myself. Hope you’re both enjoying touring. Over and out #teamVanBitious
Big H dog in da house tooo! 🙌🏻 You’re sure right, we’ve got to be humble in defeat and give our Kudos to Nicky for smashing this build! We’ll be updating everyone on our lives living and travelling in the Luton this Sunday, so we’ll make sure we get you fully up to date! 😅👋🏻
Hey guys! Class finish to the Luton you really knocked it out of the park 😀💪👏 It has inspired myself to get into a build too... can't wait to see Team Sprinter next week. Enjoy your European travels & keep up the great vlogs 😀🎉🚚💨🍾
That’s so awesome Stevie, what can will you be taking on for your build? We can’t wait to get you up to date on life inside the Luton in Europe on Sunday!! 😅✌️
Looks beautiful once finished, but I did not spot you using any insulation in the walls and no vapour barrier either. I assume you won't be "full-timing" in it in the UK or anywhere else in Northern Europe then?
I love your design and my wife and I would like to replicate it. But time lapse video doesn't show everything so is there a way of getting the full complete video?.. Many thanks.
That Conversion looks like home from home or even better first class job I’d say, enjoyed watching every minute, just one question how come you didn’t insulate the inside of the van ❓👍🏻
Appreciate you a lot David, it sure is a home away from home! We insulated the roof, just not the walls as they were made from 25mm honeycomb! No regrets as of yet, it’s been plenty warm enough so far! 🙌🏻
Q and a How do you fund your travels and van builds do you have remote jobs or is it just from you tube so interested it leaving the rat face and travelling
Another brilliant video guys 👍👍❤️ @bettyourcampervan xx love the end result, even though i was Team Sprinter! Looking forward to your travels! A brilliant couple ❤️❤️
No insulation on the floor or walls, no vapour barrier. A much too heavy worktop, much too much would used for cupboard doors etc, could all have been 6mm sliding ply doors on frames lined inside and out (double) 3mm ply (much lighter) lining the whole box with wood may look good, but at even 10mm youv added another 100kg? when you'd have just used 3mm ply sheets and decorated them. The Heater is cheap Chinese rubbish, sorry to say, the 5kw is actually 2kw, any fitter will tell you the fuel pipes are no good and will replace them, they ar noisy machines and a 10lt tank will last through 1 night if on low only.. shower tray had low profile walls and yet was 28kg, a proper caravan one (strong, long-lasting, warrantied etc) is just shy one 1kg and costs about £60, a 50kg battery with 225ah when a LifePro4 is £110 cheaper and is 280ah ..and yet you say cant recommend enough for someone on a budget..(not only £110 cheaper but weighs just 5.35kg..really important in a Luton conversion as very easy to go over the payload and be fined and have to rip out whatever the inspector points at and leave them on the side of the road) I could go on, but must say these are fun to watch and have a few good ideas, but anyone seriously contemplating converting a luton, please, do not use this list of items as a guide, do your own research and lots of it. best of luck.
Onboard with all your points but calling bullshit on 280ah (assuming 12v) weighs 5.35 kg. Think you mean 53 kgs, as watt hour per kilo for all LFP battery are pretty much the same. Would also like to hear more of your thoughts.
Why didn’t you insulated the walls on the side?
wow.....that layout you've made looked realllllllllllllly cozy..love that folding shower door!
that's the most beautiful van conversion I've ever seen 😍
Such a great job with the van build. Give yourself a pat on the back.
Look forward to your next video. You have a nice UA-cam channel and I enjoy your content.
Thanks so much Sam! We’ll be posting our first Vlog of living in our Luton this Sunday! Hopefully see you there! 😅👋🏻

they forgot to put insulation on the sides of the truck
No insulation?

Just found your channel love it me and my partner want to do this loveyour builds I'm being taught to use power tools by my wonderful man
great video, but wanna ask what tanks do you use for waste waterand toilet? (8:49)
Wow. How much did the conversion cost. It's absolutely amazing.
I love your design and my wife and I would like to replicate it. But time lapse video doesn't show everything so is there a way of getting the full complete video?.. Many thanks.
Can I ask what thickness the ply was for the ceiling? Great van btw 👍
Hi love your help

👍🏼👫🚛🛠
Where did you get the sink from?
Hey Drew, we got it from Amazon, think it’s linked in a google sheets document in the description! 😅🙌🏻
@@NickyandHarri Thanks. I will have a look at that later. I need a few bits for my camper build.
Another brilliant video guys 👍👍❤️ @bettyourcampervan xx love the end result, even though i was Team Sprinter! Looking forward to your travels! A brilliant couple ❤️❤️
Thanks as always Flaps! Glad you like the Luton (even if it’s not as much as the sprinter!) 😅 xx
no wall
insulation ? how is it in winter ?
Really warm so far
what cca do you have on your roamer battery
Absolutely no idea, The link to our battery is in the description. It’s 200Ah
Team luton sorry harri
No insulation on the walls ? Or did I miss that
No insulation on the walls. It has 25mm honeycomb on the walls already, which had enough insulation properties to suffice for us!
ands what they dont show is how much money they had to save before making it happen ....i bet that took more like 6 month to build lol
