That was all caused by Kostyuk.
As you said, the WTA has got to end this silliness right now.

Osaka announced that she will not attend press conferences, without consulting the tournament. Sabalenka asked tournament for permission to skip usual press and conduct with chosen journalists. Osaka wasn't being asked about Japan or USA war crimes or why she wasn't doing more or speaking about the same. Osaka was asked questions that tennis players face. Sabalenka was repeatedly being hounded to speak more about hee country's involvement in the war, though she has clarified same multiple times. She was being made to feel guilty and criminal.

Very different circumstances. Osaka unilaterally declared in advance of the tournament she would do no press (except one on one pieces mandated by her sponsors, because capitalism) and in the process defamed literally every working journalist in the sport.
The follow up created a rule change, and that’s what Sabalenka is making use of today: the permission granted to players to seek alternative ways of meeting their press obligations without putting them into situations that cause them undue personal stress.
Unlike Osaka, Sabalenka is not saying “I will not be questioned (unless you pay me)”.

Regardless of whether the handshake after the game or not, Svitolina will always be criticized by netizens. No handshake is unsportsmanlike and disrespectful to one's opponent, and a handshake would be a target for a traitor to nationalism. Isn't nationalism itself the thing that should be reflected and discussed?

Probably a thumbs up and simply acknowledging your opponent can be a sign of good sportsmanship.

These buffoons, Ukrainian players thinking that the world belong only to them. Search and read about Ukrainian's Azov battalion, Ajdar battalion, Pravy Sektor battalion, Stepan Bandera, UPA, OUN, SS-Galizien, SS-Halczyna, Volyn masacre and you will understand why the Ukrainan state is a run by Neo_Nazis.

And Ukraine were fighting Russian backed separatists.
Tell me what did Russia did to separatists in Chechnya? Killed 100k+ Chechnya citizens via massacre.
      So gtfo with this bs
