dont remove the resonator just get a smaller muffler, you got a bathtub muffler essentially. We threw 2 of those on my now wife's v6 charger cause the hunk of crap had cats and straight pipes. if you want more aggression under throttle try a vibrant ultra quiet or a dynomax race bullet. resos will give u a bunch of rasp and not much volume gain
