Sometimes the char feels like a grille 15. You fully aim, sometimes you can snipe cupolas at 500m, sometimes you miss the side of a maus at 200m.
I have exactly the same experience. That is why I prefer the Leo PTA at T9. This tank never really worked for me without vstab. The bloom on turret traverse is just too bad, and the tank have been missing a lot when tried to shoot moving targets. And every missed shot is a paint with such a long magazine reload.
@@solyomandras most players thought that because of better base acc, Char is better in that soft stats area compared to BC but in actuality the Char soft stats is +- 20% worse than BC 🤭

How the heck do I miss 4-8 times fully aimed on different battles on side armour
@@solyomandras Why do you use vstabs when it's 4sec between shots, you have all the time in the world to aim, since you can only ambush others I don't think it's smart to walk up to someone like you would normally do with other tanks like char.
@@nenadpopov3601 because vstab reduces the bloom on turret travers, which is attrocious with the Char.
Quickybaby you should do map masterclasses. Positioning is key in wot. I’d like to see your opinions on the different maps.

Great tank, great video. The Kunze Panzer is the same way, it's secretly an amazing Tier IX sniper medium. Really love how dynamic and unique these tanks are.
View range is 505m (510 with vent purge) with exp vents, exp optics, BIA, sits aware, recon and coffee. Also Commander's Vision. One of my favourite tanks.
Char is my favourite tank to play after coming back to WoT with a new account and it made me realise that tier 10 is not worth grinding and playing expect for a few special tanks for Onslaught or Rank (for the rewards and nothing else). I love this tank so much that I have none other then Chuck Norris for commander and I'm at 7 skills (with 0 skill crew), I dumped as much credits as I could to get the best efficiency. Now I need to load it up with Bonds and Bounty equipment to mid-max it.
I actually went for controlled impact. It’s stupid how much ram damage you can do and save your butt when you you are in a bad place and reloading. I honestly think it’s a must have on this tank.

So surely QB doesnt try and mark a med by using it as a LT right? Surely he will use iau, vstab, and vents and mark it off of damage right? Right?

I perform well with my Char and I'm free to play but sorry, premium consumables and 6 skills crew isn't free to play. I just played 3 games with it where I did 7k combined average with a crew of 1 skill and 82% of the second one and they didn't even get 1% more for it. I have 3 skills crews on other tanks but it takes a lot of games played with "bad" crews to get there. And since Char needs arguably at least 5 skills to perform at the best of its abilities it isn't something a ftp player can achieve easily. And by the time they get to a 5 star crew they surely don't need help to play with the tank.

The only thing Wargaming is interested in is in your money. Decent gameplay WAS possible in the early days, but nowadays is it possible to get the highest tiers relatively simple. Which means a lot of non-skilled tankers running around not knowing what to do. Winning is a worse than flipping a coin.

Loooove my Char, just had an awesome game today, tier x game, managed to rape a Maus and take 1500 dmg from him and 4,5k dmg in total, won the game with arty and strv who started playing at the very end of the game so he didn't really do much except stealing a kill from me, Char is so much better then Batchat just because the gun is more fun and it can bounce shells, and the fact you don't really have to load gold is the best, only problem I have is sometimes I don't have enough ammo to do what I planned.

This tank is literally the worst experience i ever had in wot. It cannot hit the broad side of a barn if my life depends on it, which it does.... Absolutely atrocious gun handling even with every possible upgrade. I cannot fathom how anyone likes this piece of crap... I regret ever listening to all of the CC that "recommend" this tank. Complete waste of BP Tokens. At least for me.

The Char Futur is an incredible tank. If i had to play the next thousand battles in a single vehicle, this would be it.

I'm still trying to get my 3rd Mark of ex. The other day I got to %94.5 and had 2min battles in a roll. I got so frustrated I kept playing. Now I'm sting on %87...If anyone is trying to get Moe and losing in a roll.. Don't do what I did, have a break and come back with a clear head..
The advise isn't gonna help much, everytime I get in that situation my head keeps going "maybe next one will be better"
SAGE Advice - if anyone actually takes it - even a 10 minute break is enough to clear your head 👍

Also very quickly became one of my favorite and most comfortable tanks to play in the game!
I disagree the game is in worse shape for it .Autos should be in their own game modes

Would love one of these on the GSOR or Vz 55. The average player can do well in these but id love to learn how to squeeze every drop of damage out of a game that I can
Personally I would love some sort of 'do I reload now, 1 shot down and risk being unloaded, or only have 3 for the next encounter and not finish them off'.
3k battles in the Bat 25t. Just recently started playing again after a few years and really struggle with the old sluggish Batchat. Now my favorite is the more nimble Bat 12t, but it lacks fire power…
I really hope you are right and I’ll be able to get my hands on this tank this year. It sound like the perfect tank for me.
I guess, the Bat Chat 25t is on WGs buff list for 2023 - at least thats what i heard in a Video of the German CC Ohare 😊
I would be so happy, because i love my Char Futur 4 and was a little disappointed when i bought BC 25t and found out that its out of meta :/
I guess BC would be finde if they adjust all of the Gunhandling and dispersion stats up to these of the Char Futur 4 and maybe add these 7,5 degrees of gun depression... 🤔
Then BC would be like an Char Futur 4 which trades that "magical armor" against one shot more in the mag and a better burst (2,7 sec intra clip still feels long, tbh)! 👌
I absolutely LOVE this tank, so as QB suggests @ 8:20 I used my bonds to get bond vents and then use CVS, and I'm (mostly) free to play. I'm happy to use food on it cos it still makes me consistent credits, so it is worth it IMO

Reason for stopped playing the game is when you see only red numbers when you are free to play, even when QB has cherrypicked the best games. And if you drop the prem. Consumables youre simply not competitive anymore...
Love the tutorials/master classes. Helps us middle players find ways to improve. Keep them coming and thank you for all you do

This tank is freaking awesome. French tank player, got 25k battles on them, and as soon as i picked this one, it became my favorite. Love it.
Close to the third mark. Will get it soon for sure, i never have the "struggle" feeling with it, perfectly fits my playstyle.

The char was the first BP tank I bought, then the Phase one and Kunze and its still the best of them all honestly. Love the tank, it just works and I fell in love from game one on. Sad to see that people dont know how strong CVS is...its a game changer on many meds like K-91 or Leopard 1
2:45 QB, can you please explain why you choose VStab instead of ImprAiming, since you were just pointing out accuracy is more important than gun handling due to the long intra-clip reload? I'm trying to decide between the 2.
When u have 4 sec intraclip between shots that means u kinda always will fully aim your shots since it has +- 2 secs aim time, do u even need gun handling improvement?
@@Rika101OfficialYT yeah, that's what I thought QB is saying in the video at the timestamp above, but later he shows he choose VStab in 1 of his builds instead of ImprAiming... that's why I'm a bit confused.
@@nougan_gamer Char soft stats (shooting while moving, bloom after firing, etc) is +- 20% worse than BC so I can understand his argument to use VStabs, but unless u play yolo style like on BC, use aiming device will be a better pick, hell, even use IRM will be a good shout since IRM not just help with those soft stats but also help with tank traverse on soft/med terrain which is shit on Char.

The char is my absolute favorite tank in this game. I’m not great at any other tank even OP ones like the BZ or the bbq, but for some reason this tanks just clicks perfectly for me. I think it just has the perfect combination of accuracy, pen, camo/VR for scouting and burst damage for 1v1 that honestly I don’t think is offered by any other tank in this game.

I originally got this tank bc at the time, I didn’t really have any auto loaders. That was my only reasoning. Little did I know it would quickly become my favourite and probably best tank.
Only tank I haven’t gotten bored of, being tier 9 is really a sweet spot too.

My very first game with this tank I got something like 5k dmg. Which isn't a lot but it's massive for me. Ever since then I have absolutely sucked in it.
exactly broo,my first match i got 4k-4,5k dmg too but the next 30 games...true i didn t have equipments because my credids went so low after many games lost with char...

I'm an average to below average player. In this tank I have a 55% win rate. I share this crew with my Bourasque. The crew skills are top. I love it. The vision, the speed, and the ability to circle quickly around and shoot players in the A$$ makes it a really fun tank to play.
Until you outplay one in your SU-122-44 and he starts talking trash in your personal chat 😂

I got this tank from Battlepass and it was horrible at first. After 10 games, I hadn't a win. It was depressing. Recently, I got a handle on it, and things have improved. It is a lot of fun. Even though I'm only a 48% WR player, I can't stop playing it. I can see so much potential. It has already got me a few memorable games. And once I get some perks on the crew, I imagine things will get even better. Then I need to work on getting some field mods. Once that happens, I think I'll be playing it constantly.

Agree with QB. The Char Futur (or even Bourrasque for that matter), are simply not tanks for below average players. Such tanks can be very clutch in the hands of average and above players.
But for the masses, they are just clueless at maximizing its potential while minimizing its weakness.

I'm not the best by far at this game,
But I came on this morning and it just felt like I was new to the game.
So what ever wargaming has done it is definitely for the worst.,

Biggest problem with this tank? Teammates whining that you're doing nothing when you have 3 kills, 2.5k dam, 2k spot dam but you're reloading.
I hate this tank ! I get 5 or 6% less WR on it than on my Skoda T50 (one of my favorite tank) or the Standard B. The reload time and the 4 sec between the shells are too long for me. Personnal feeling because lots of players like it.
Big fan of this tank, but in my last game I fired 14 rounds, 9 hit and I got 2 pens! I was firing mainly against an E50's side armour. I went into target fixation and got toasted by the opposition.
I'm not the best player, but I still manage to have some fun games in this tank. For such a low profile tank, I was pleasantly surprised by the gun depression, too.
How can people love spending their time in WoT ? Am always surprised that this is passionating some people, especially when the video lasts 30 minutes. This is 30min too long for me.
The take away here is He was 1 on 1 when he didn't need to be, too much screwing around on the hill and letting TD's do the scouting. He won this because it was an Arty not the another tank that was left. This would be a throw play in most pub matches, they won but it was luck. He waited to long and wasn't doing what He should have been doing much earlier. They got the win for sure but He made it far closer than it needed to be.
Honestly it's kinda cheating how often the Char catches fire. Like no fuel tank damage and instantly burning. Not cool at all and needs buffed.
My second favorite vehicle in WOT at the moment is the char. Hopefully my win rate will go up after watching this video

For me it's accuracy does not work even though ı use ımproved aiming and picked ımproved sight still soo many of my shells dissapears in air or ony does critdmg
I remember using my cvs build in this map in my uses, I ended up with 7k and a 1v3 win because I was just able to outdoor their meds and heavies
This tank has a super derpy gun. Mine has .28 accuracy yet most of my shots miss... and then u can reload for half a minute -.-

I feel vindicated in my use of the Breech Tweaking field mod. I had chosen it despite QB's previous recommendations for most autoloaders to use the New Aiming Gears for exactly the reasons he talked about here.
Sweaty nerds: sees +10 more AP and thinks that it is a worthwhile advantage to talk about.
Thank you for making a Master Class on the Char. What I really need is a Master Class on the AMX 50B. I've had the tank for quiet a while, and I love auto loaders. However, I just can't make that thing work to save my... tank. Every time you make a teir list and rate it so highly, I always want to give it another try, but just seem to play poorly in it.

Can you make a master class video about STB-1? I really need it. I feel like this tank is cursed for me. I am going back and forth in between 70% to 80% of MoE and I recently hit 3k, yea 3k battles in this tank and not even a 2nd mark. I think other than crazy DPM and gun depression this tank has nothing and it feels obsolete like the AMX 30B compare to the rest of the tier 10 MTs.

I'm either surprisingly lucky in char futur or I'm just randomly skilled in it, as I've got around 60% winratio on it while my profile-wide is just under 50%.
I have the opposite : 55% WR overall, 50% with the tank, I hate it
