I watched this some time ago, before I learned "Party Rock Anthem" song actually existed, it was briefly showed on a something I was watching.
First time I watched this, I thought it was aiming to all those type of party/dance songs, good thing this works even without knowing the actual reference.

I feel like if done right, even the view watching the movie would feel the dread of the party music and scene never ending throughout the protagonist trying to escape. Just a movie with non stop party music and a never ending cycle of hope the next escape will work

It really captures the existential dread of alienation you can sometimes feel in a nightclub. Reminded me some nights when I was at the club and wondering what the fuck I was even doing there, what was the point like every of those "party" nights started to feel futile and interchangeable.

Part of the job was to stay in character and keep the energy high even when there was hardly anyone there. The mall I was in was dead a lot of the time, so my way of keeping the energy high (and killing time) ended up being dancing in character. I wasn't trying to go hard every day because the costume was suffocating, but then they paid me more to keep it up... For the few people who would pass by on the slow days, it was pretty much like this skit where everyone was oblivious to my plight and just started dancing with me. I had to keep the party going 'cause the party don't stop. I did that to myself though.
