I was glad when barsic came on and started taking them. Tav is known for a volley or 2 why he doesn't want to sit back out the box and wait for corners to come out is beyond me, his corners are shite

I think Balagon came back to be an old head in the dressing roo and help the youth players and he was happy to do that because he loves the club. Turns out he is our best defender and is getting games. Davie Weir played until he was 40.
Is Balogun worth a 1 year extension ? I think we need 2 new CB's. The wages and fees the club paid out and are paying should have Goldson & Davies in there. Davies is on gardening leave . Not even a good role model. Goldson can suck it up on bench as he has been posted missing in big moments for last 2 seasons. Balogun is a no fuss cheap option who loves the club not his bank balance and I'd be all for him getting a deal.as we bed in a new pairing next season. Souttar has to step up or step aside for me Handy cover but not a long term solution.
Balogun was a good squad man before we let him go and he is again now. He's got another couple of years left in him yet. But we do need a new back four this summer and two proper strikers.
If he’d been playing for the last two weeks we’d be at the top of the league by now

A 35 year old kept us out of bother most of the match. Younger players want to have a long hard look at themselves. Shocking performance regardless of result.

Balogun is a no nonsense central back defender. Defending he is better than Souttar or Goldson.
He is 35yo a one year contract is a no brainer for me.
Who would be an adequate replacement to Goldson?

@@donmclean6888 I didn't even know that Goldson was a Catholic, atheist or anything else. Nor have I heard any Gers fan criticising him for anything other than his below par performances. Goldson was chasing shadows against Ross County. He deserved to be dropped. Any idea what religion Balogun is? I don't either, but he played well yesterday.
