Yeah that bank that ended up being more like a wall ride was a shock haha. I did enjoy the day and got some good ollie practice in but like I said in the other comments, when my son is there I can't fully focus on skating 🙃
Keep going mate, 50 50 looking better every time i see you doing it, great progress, soon you'll be flying these stairs ;) and good ollies from the box, need to give that a try, did only curb for now.
I went there for the first time a bit ago I was so intimidated by some of the stuff there I felt like I couldn't skate at all so ended up just watching and trying a few things but by that point confidence was gone and so was ability looking forward to going back now I am more confident in bits but wanna get these oliies consistent first your progress is amazing bud always smashing it even when you aren't feeling it ❤️
Thanks mate I find this one of the less intimidating parks but I am more street orientated than ramp. But also why I was annoyed I couldn't do much haha!
Cheers Jamie, be great to get the crew to this one. It is mostly street orientated though but there is a half pipe section at the very back with a spine
Mate you were popping those ollies down the stairs super good. I get it though it’s frustrating skating when you not feeling right. Shame I couldn’t make it this day mate, park looks fun.
Thanks, Ollies were only thing that felt good. I think that first slam trying to rolling shuv set the pace of this session haha! But also find it hard to focus when park is busy and my son is there. I always take less risks when my kids are about!
@@DadLeisureSkateboarding I barely skate when I take my boy to the park. I’ll roll around and do really safe stuff but I don’t take any risks at all. Your first responsibility is to them so you can’t be putting yourself in dumb situations. We’ll have to get the crew done there one Monday or Tuesday for a sesh.
Thanks Tony, I was staying within my comfort zone and to be fair I'm happy with the ollies down the 2 stairs etc. Yes it's there, I think part of the reason I couldn't relax is because my son kept gravitating towards it 😂 BMX guys seem to like it though!
Wow, it looks prehistoric - rough. Break out the soft wheels lol. You didn't seem to have the motivation in your body language. There's always another session.
This is one of the smoother parks by UK standards 😂 Which is why I skate Dragons! I agree with the body language. I was there with my son and it's such a big space that I had to keep checking where he was and that he was OK, meaning I couldn't fully relax into the session. There were also other parents just sat around watching their kids (and me) so I felt a little self conscious too. Disappointing as I love the park, need to go when its just me and it's quiet!
@@DadLeisureSkateboardingI was gonna say that ain’t too rough 😂 not a massive fan of soft wheels. I think they make absolutely everything harder (except cruising) even when I cruise I still want to be able to slide and have that snappy Ollie feel. I don’t seem to get that from soft wheels. Are you on the 93a or the 97s? Wouldn’t mind giving the 97s a bash one day or trying the Reynolds
@@Sk8Comeback Im on the 93a Dragons 58mm. Been skating them for a year and have just been a great 'all round 🤦♂' wheel for me... I find harder wheels too slippy in the indoor wooden parks and they rattle too much at the street spots. Dragons still a bit too hard at times so I have been trying RICTA clouds 86a and to be honest they seem to perform better than dragons at the smooth spots too! Going to put the rictas on my main set-up for next few weeks but I do want to try some 99a spitfires at some point just to see what I am missing!
read the comments and get that you were not getting in the zone, but well done skating through it. having a go on the uncomfortable transitions too!

Ah man…I was expecting some radness when I read the thumbnail 😂 you lured me in! Haha Happens mate. Good sesh incoming now 🤞
@@Sk8Comeback haha AHH well. Stoke Plaza defeated me I was literally stoked. Kids back at school next week so I can focus a bit more!
Ollies are solid man, looked like a good session!
@@goldenshoulders909 thank you! 🛹
you find some amazing spots! your confidence when down those stairs is great to see, uve really nailed them ollies. theyre huge!

I like the 50-50's on the stairs I have been working on that trick with 0 progress you have it down great!!
@@VintageSk8 thanks, just need to get it more consistent now!
Good height off the 2 step Scott! 👊🏻 miss a bit of step ollieing
@@simonvidetta1976 thanks man, yeah getting confident at drops and steps again... Probably not a good thing 😂
@ but sooo much fun… ✌🏻

@@KieranClarkSkates exactly that mate! Yeah I deffo want to go back to that park when it's quiet and it's just me (or the crew)
miss this course...
It's a great one, I just need to go alone and when it's quiet so I can really get into the session!
Your skating is looking good here.
Is that ridiculous massive bowl still at that park or am I mixing this up with something else?
