Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - Let me take you on a journey to arguably one of the most popular restaurants in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Shawarma is a dish that is made of usually chicken, home made bread with lifechanging garlic sauce and pickles. It is sold in the thousands on a daily basis in the Kingdom and is extremely popular throughout the Middle East.
When I first came to Saudi Arabia, Mama Noura was one of the first places that my friends took me to, telling me that this place is a childhood memory and a must eat as a foreigner as it is their favorite place. However, the longer I stayed in Riyadh, the more I realized that there are different shawarma spots on almost every corner you go to. So as a foodie, I made it my mission to find out for myself and tell you… “Where is the BEST Shawarma in Riyadh?”

You can bye a skewer from Amzone and try making it at home, it might not taste the same but you would love it.

Dude, you have more Lebanese that live in your country than in Lebanon, the shawarma you eat in Brazil made by Lebanese people is probably better than shawarmas in here.
People have different tastes, but to me personally, Mama Noura is mediocre compared to the stuff I tasted in Istanbul, Istanbul's street shawarma is a 10\10 while Mama Noura is a solid 7\10.

Try the Rocket Shawarma from Zoq Al Mazaq restaurant located in Al-Mursalat neighborhood. It’s the best shawarma place in Riyadh for me.

In Riyadh you have to try shawarma house I lived here for about 13 years and if you go to Riyadh you have to try that it is better then mama noura
I live in Riyadh and still prefer Mama Noura. Shawarma House is a close second though

nowhere near the best, theres a shop in al hassa cooking shawerma on coal in horizontal pit. and flat indoor bakes bread. handcut Natural fries and real spicy sauce from turkey. the place is spelled avucadu i think.
MAMA NOURA is the best only in Riyadh the capital of KSA
