Last week at the store saw the lowly IWC Portofino automatic in stainless steel with the Milanese Mesh Bracelet. I guess that's my grail watch or a 'Pepsi Can' Rolex.

For me as a one watch person my grail always had to be something I could wear in the office and take into the water, the classic all-purpose watch, not too large. It could be sporty because I don‘t wear suits and don‘t do board rooms. It took a little bit of buying and flipping but my grail was finally released last year. I wasn’t impressed at first but once I tried it on I knew it was the one. I have now had it for almost a year and I love it like on day one. It is absolutely perfect for me. The Seamaster 300 60th anniversary LE. 39mm and looks great on bracelet, Nato, leather, perlon.
The Santos is such a sharp looking watch! Congrats again Josh. I like most square and rectangular watches (not so sure about that Versace though! 😂) , so I'd say that my grail, at the moment, is the JLC Reverso.
What an absolutely great watch. Mine is the Tag Heuer Monaco, which is expensive but attainable, and the other one is the Greubel Forsey GMT, which is just impossible.
Two great picks. I have also wanted a Monico since I saw Jessie gift one to Walt on breaking bad. If I won a billion dollar lottery Gerubel Forsey is a good one. Totally on another level of craftsmanship

My Grail watch would be a Grand Seiko SBGN005. I know it's Quartz but it's something I could afford to maintain. If I got something a Rolex Explorer 2 or a Submarine Date I don't know if I could afford the maintenance.
A Rolex should be able to ho 10 or 15 years with no maintenance.

Gosh, this is a tough one as all my purchases have been online for the last 18mths due to the pandemic and I have not been to a watch store to view a watch in person. I would say at the present moment my grail would be the Zenith Chronomaster Sport, followed very closely by the Grand Seiko Skyflake SBGA407.
