I just thought id update on this. Van Diemans are a Back Patch MC now & yes they earned that. It was the natural evolution of the Club. Awesome guys. I left to pursue a different path last year. I miss thise guys a lot. It was a tough decision, but i had to do it. Im currently Prospecting for an MC at the highest level. Hard work, but loving it.
I had no idea Weston had an MCC let alone a club house until I saw Leigh's video about club life. That video and now this should really end all the misconceptions and nonsense that people believe is true about clubs. Huge thanks to Leigh and your Lordship for putting this interview / explanation out there.

Hi mate.
I was part of a 1% club a few years back. It’s mad how much media and people perceive club life.
It’s not a gang, it’s definitely not Sons of Anarchy. Granted, some members let the patch and being part of a large group of brothers go to their heads.
There are some proper dangerous clubs out there but this is usually support clubs for larger 1%ers.
The club i was involved with consisted of mainly older blokes who had been in the scene for years. They follow the old ways and are genuinely decent, respectful blokes.
Some younger guys let it go to their heads but the older members will reign them in if they muck about.
When going out in public, there’s always a sense of fear or intrigue from the general public. In all honesty, MC members aren’t a threat to the public however, there can be issues when two rival clubs meet.
Some main points from the club i was in was respect.
No touching another members patch ( this includes when greeting eachother, don’t hug or place ur hands on back patches). Don’t lean against walls. If you’re at a club meeting, prospects will stand untill all members are seated.
When leaving or entering somewhere, make sure to greet EVERY single member. Ideally, starting from the top then leaving prospects till last.
I made a big mistake greeting a prospect before an officer. The bollocking i got really made me remember next time lol.
Sticking together no matter what - if there’s something kicking off, you will always jump in. Either diffusing the situation or backing up another member.
There’s also a lot of other things that you pick up along the way.
Prospecting isn’t like the movies. In the UK it’s a lot less relaxed then the USA.
These are a few things but all in all, you’ll be meeting up twice a week. Going to meetings, ride outs etc without fail ( unless you are going to work or genuinely sick)
The club becomes your life. If you’re prospecting and your sponsor calls you - you better get there quick lol.
I remember one time, half the guys were pissed up and we had to travel to the next location. Riding at 80mph in formation with half thr members pissed up or coked up is a scary experience lol
The police don’t really bother you. Theres some sort of unwritten rule that they leave you alone.
Most of these support clubs will answer to HA,Outlaws etc. HA and Red Devils have a lot of presence in the UK, especially London

I noticed I said MMC instead of MCC a couple of times. I was tired. An MMC is a Modified Motorcycle Club.

I had the very unique experience of basically being raised in one of these, here in England when I was 13 & homeless in London I met a guy who took me in & I was basically a live in prospect of sorts for room and board and adventure, we mutually decided at 18 that I was too much of a punk & free spirit to be patched in & parted ways amicably but I wont lie im 40 and you can TELL i was raised in a biker clubhouse it took me til 40 to start making the bed lmao great video brother.
That was interseting about how clubs work.

I love what they say about being brothers and helping each other. All through my life I have tried my best to help everyone but rarely people will help me. I don’t help people for anything in return but I would like to think I could go to people for help if you understand. There are exemptions of course I have a few very good friends but most people I know it’s one sided. The more I watch this the more i like the sound of it but right now I think I will look a bit silly on my 125

@izzy1122111 if you mean going Back Patch MC. It was the natural evolution for the Club. With the blessing of the Dominant MC it was allowed to happen. If you mean why did I leave. I had my reasons. I love those guys & I miss them. I'm on a different path now.

OK, well that's the real point, right? It's not about bikes. You just have to pretend to be interested in bikes, get your tattoos, get a Harley on finance, and you're swimming in women. You lot should talk about that more often. It just makes more sense because otherwise nothing you do or say adds up. Latvia, not California, for one. 2023, not 1974, for another.
He could put an R&D Tax claim in for the work he has done on the bike. Could recover 25% of the labour and materials
