Going on our first cruise on Liberty in a few weeks. You can't book any entertainment (ice show) on this ship in advance. Only the larger ships allow booking prior to the cruise date.
Congrats on your first cruise! You’re going to love Liberty if the Seas. You should be able to book shows in advance so keep checking your Cruise Planner, but advance booking sometimes varies by sailing and itinerary. The larger ships, like the Oasis Class, do not usually allow advance bookings. You should book your shows as soon as you get on board. Check out my new video on Wonder of the Seas.
In this video, I share my top 10 tips for sailing on Royal Caribbean's Liberty of the Seas. I share tips on where to sit at the buffet when it's busy, ice skating onboard at Studio B, how to get FREE Ben and Jerry's ice cream, and more.
I believe Liberty of the Seas has a free ice cream machine near the pool. You'll also find ice cream for free at Windjammers (during lunch and dinner) and the Main Dining Room (during dinner). I hope this helps!
Congrats on your first cruise! The dining package could be worth it if you plan on doing mostly specialty dining. But the buffet and main dining rooms are perfectly fine too. So you certainly don’t NEED to do specialty dining. The beverage packages are a little subjective. It depends on a number a factors - the package type, how many drinks you’ll have etc. read over the drink packages Royal Caribbean offers and be sure you understand the fine print. For ex: some packages exclude drinks over $13 etc.
I'm watching this on the ship and I can say I am definitely gonna check out the helicopter pad view thingy tommorow
I jus got back fr sailing on Liberty it was my 1st cruise and I enjoyed myself.
Congrats on your first cruise. Liberty is a great ship. Next try an Oasis Class ship 😊

Was on Liberty last June. The casino is not on deck 3, but deck 4, next to the Schooner bar.
Thank you!
THANK YOU!!!
Is ice cream available somewhere else for free ?

When and we’re does the sidewalk sale happen for the souvenirs?
Great question. It takes place in the retail district on the ship, usually the last night of your cruise.
Just curious, I am probably not buying the deluxe beverage package. How much do they charge for a glass of wine?
Figure about $12 - $30 for a glass of wine
Thank you!! Do you think it’s worth it doing the all inclusive dinning package and or alcohol package?? I’m going on my first cruise this year!
