Just got through with comparisons. I think you are wrong. People, you better look at other reviews before you decide. The Ninja has a 1000 watt mother and the Nutribullet has a 900 watt. The Ninja’s blades are a little thicker. It blend ice and frozen fruits better (in my opinion) The Nutribullet might be great for soups, but both about the same. I like the Ninja cups better as they have a lid with a spout that seals. When on the road, the cup will not spill. Also it fits in the cup holder.
One other note: According to people that own one, the Nutribullet has a problem of leaking, which is the main concern of mine. They can’t seem to fix this problem. They are close to the same, so investigate a little closer before you purchase one.

I agree with you. I will NEVER buy the Nutribullet because of it's bad design with the blades & seal. Ninja is the best buy out of those 2.had he tried it out with 1of the Ninjas with a brain, the result would have been far better for the Ninja

A couple suggestions though I appreciate your effort with doing this testing. There are some flaws in the experiment to compare the two. The Ninja obviously had more carrot and celery, you could see by the larger sizes of the pieces that went into the Ninja compared to the Nutribullet, even though the same number of pieces. The final evidence was that the Ninja smoothie was a much more obvious orange color, showing more carrot was in it, the Nutribullet looked greener. This would account for possibly more pulpiness since carrots have a lot of this. A 2nd suggestion is to agitate or stir the smoothie immediately before pouring each sample through the strainer and on the plate for the smear test. Larger matter could have settled to the bottom sod this test is mainly looking at the upper layer (supernatant) of liquid in which a lot of the larger pieces could have settled out. I suggest redoing the whole experiment. However, the results of the Ninja having a less smooth consistency are in line with what other websites are saying too.

Since both claims to be able to blend ice cubes and frozen berries, I wish you'd tested those claims out.

Thanks for feedback Amanda. I will try to add another video with those tests. From personal experience, the Nutribullet Pro 900 is better for frozen berries but the Ninja does pretty well but I don't feel as well as the Nutribullet. Most berries blend well it is just ones with seeds like blackberries that might you might notice in a smoothie. I don't recommend using Nutribullet to crush ice unless you are just using a couple ice cubes. Nutribullet says in their manual that ice should be less than 25% of total ingredients and they say that you should NOT crush ice without liquid. I think it is because of their blade design. Side Note: Consumer reports does extensive ice crushing in their testing for durability and the Nutribullet and Ninja both passed their test). For blade design the Ninja is better for crushing raw ice and the Nutribullet blade is designed to grind and blender. Also for blending ice, these are the blenders that are rated the highest blenderauthority.com/best-blender-for-crushing-ice/

@@blenderauthority2561 I can't afford any fancy blenders and all the blenders mentioned on your site are more expensive in Australia than the US. I was interested in these two models specifically because they're both within my price range. The Nutri Ninja is $84 AUD and the Nutribullet Pro is $99 AUD.

Hello Amanda, sorry for the delayed reply. I prefer the Nutribullt 900 over Ninja for performance and overall feel. The Nutribullet ranks at the top in many personal blender comparison tests and it is our top pick for single serve blenders blenderauthority.com/best-personal-blender/. Keep in mind though that the Nutribullet blade design is for pureeing nuts, fruits, and veggies and is not designed for blending raw ice(Ice can be up to 20% of ingredients when blending in a Nutribullet )

Ninja is FAR MORE SUPERIOR than the nutribullet. Ninja is much better than the cheap Shite Nutribullet.

The Ninja shines when it's used for crushing ice and other hard ingredients.

Hi, the Nutribullet can crush ice too which I do all the time as part of a smoothie but the blades are NOT designed to crush just ice. I just found that the Ninja blade design didn't mill/grind nuts/seeds as well. Ninja wasn't bad but just found Nutribullet blended better.

The bullet will grind pills and coffee beans.. Ninja fails miserably in that category.

If you are going to do a test, keep things the same. The ninja appeared to have a lot more water.
