- In this episode of Beyond the Headlines, the show looks at the much talked about status of the six Bersatu (opposition) MPs who pledged support for Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Following the notice issued by Dewan Rakyat speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul that reverses the initial vacate order by Bersatu, the six MPs in question get to keep their parliamentary seats.
Constitutional expert Datuk Dr Shad Saleem Faruqi shares his insights on the matter.
Other parliamentary updates were also discussed with SUHAKAM vice-chairman sharing his take on the child witness protection boost that debuted.

A good decision by the speaker. If an election for the 6 adun is held it is not going to benefit the rakyat.If the opposition win the 6 seats they cant form a government anyway.Only millions of rakyat money is wasted for nothing.This money can be used for other purposes.

I think that lady by the name of Hana Naz Harun should go and read law before she can gave her opinion. Obviously she dont even understand the Law and the Constitution especially the Anti Hopping Law which was basically a Constitutional Amenmend
