I am a music teacher and would like to use this song for a square dancing program this year. I can't find it anywhere. Can you put me in touch of the music teacher/pe teacher who put this program on? Thank you very much!!
@ambersmith218 More importantly, thank goodness he is raised by parents who aren't superficial. Obviously one of the few happy and has his parents there!
@sarahweirdo5 Square dancing can be lots of fun if taught right. Those kids in the video know exactly what the next call will be -- they start the movement just when the caller starts to enunciate this call -- and they are dancing way to fast, hence the long time between their moves. At a regular modern square dance you don't know the next move, at a regular traditional square dance you know the entire dance in advance. Both are different and both are fun, if you are open to enjoy it.
Actually, "dressed for the part" would mean the THREE boys in short sleeves were not "dressed for the part". Really, does it matter? No. Just dancing and following the calls and hopefully having fun (I, too, would be nervous with a camera on me.) is what is important.
