Also, I had not seen anyone use the bamboo rollers usually used for sushi in that way. It had a cool texture, and he did it so fast. It took me at least twenty tries before I could make one successfully. Thank you for this video, very entertaining.

It’s always surprise me the quantity of fish and sea food japanese eat. I am in Canada and I don’t even think Canadian eat one fish meal per week. A lot of immigrants does but the native, I don’t think so unless they live in coastal area. But having sashimi’s fresh grade is incredible. Most of our fish are frozen and even the fresh ones sold on the supermarket needs to be cook to be safe.
