I had one of these as a kid, cool to see you try to restore it.
It's a great truck for sure and it's a shame that couldn't get that rear diff to work properly. Reminds me, I need to find a new project to restore over the Christmas break.

Yes I did. I didn't love the platform and that diff in particular so I sold it on. Still love Tamiya but the Nissan King Cab not so much.
Who else felt the diff pain ? 😢
I did what I could to get that diff to work properly but in the end it defeated me.
