I have been getting this question a lot lately is ANALOG better then PINPOINT! so i go over my opinions on both in this video and which one i believe will be best for you!

Yep me too…I’ve tried pin point and the results do seem that much different to me.
Lol yall crazy. Meter is not consistent at all. Online with lag it's impossible to routinely time good releases and when you do it lands in a general spot. If you use meter I just sit fb cuz more often than not you won't be able to land a non fb in the corners of strike zone so you'll walk me or throw more fb's than you want to and I'll make you pay. If you are having success with meter you aren't playing good players trust me lol
It sucks cause you're right...pinpoint just the gimmick is trash to me....honestly if they would fix the laggy servers meter would still be decent @joshuwadevonshire673
the reason i love the show, is bc it knows everyone is different. credit to the companies that worked on these games for so long, making it as adaptable to the players specific skill level as possible is excellent for like any sports game
Pulse is the best for me and it’s pretty accurate to where you want the ball pitched if you time it right
Meter 100%, haven't used "buttons" since meter was added.
I like that they stole the motion pitching from 2K Baseball and made it somewhat better though. Just weird it took them about 10 years after 2K to do it.
Hope they steal "crosshairs" from 2k next, I loved using that mechanic.
I use the Pulse pitching. I never see people use it, but if you time it well, the ball lands pretty close to where you want it.

I use pulse cuz I’m a casual player but it works where you want it to go and it’s pretty easy to always get perfect

Meter pitching is by far the most accurate. If you time the release and get perfects everytime then it goes exactly where you want it. I was shocked when I seen other people didn’t use meter.
Because that shit takes so long to master and is annoying af when you mess up
@@mksquirt1810 yeah but once you master it, it’s easily the best way. I also think the pitching method most pros use is hard. I can never get the my analog to go straight down.

I tried switching over to pinpoint but my hands are just a little shaky to get it down. I’ve stuck with analog and I’ve seen success. To each their own.

I’ve been doing analog my whole time playing the show it feels good doing it.
I switched from PinPoint. Love the addition of the par region but there needs to be a smaller par region for the more complicated pitching mechanics. Analog is so easy this year with less of a park region too.

Par region is huge on pinpoint only downfall thrown perfect pitches down the middle when it was supposed to be outside corner
In RTTS I use classic. I personally don’t play online or competitive, and use this game as a good relaxing game.
Also classic gives you a good sense for your pitcher’s confidence and energy levels, as you’re only choosing the release time and depending on your pitcher’s familiarity with their pitches you’ll get cues on your release.
It’s also very accurate in my experience but that’s again in RTTS with little use of the other methods

Pulse has worked really well for me this year
Pulse is random as to where the ball will go inside the shaded area. If your pitch as middling to crap control, it doesn't matter if your timing is perfect.
I use analog because its a good middle ground between pinpoint and pulse.

Once your in Ryhym it’s a sure thing every time and after 2 strikeouts it’s a huge yellow bar and if you miss that then you gotta be bad
I still use meter. I’ll try pin point every now and then but it seems like the results aren’t that much different. I’ve been using meter for like 20 yrs now. It’s like breathing to me.

It's bs it always pulls into the middle of a box giving the hitters with bad ball hitter a hr almost on demand I was throwing change ups that where almost bouncing off the ground and everyone smacks them had a 480 hr hit off me and the ball was litterly in the very middle of the box but I threw a perfect and the black spot was super far away it makes no since

same meter is best for me there isn’t a perfect type to use just use what works for you

Meter is probably the 3rd best pitching dynamic besides Analog and Pinpoint, harder to hit perfects but you can control your pitch speeds
