Great coverage on all the basic food and delicacies at Jenjarom. Yatt Lau 👍🏽. Thank you for sparking the dessert ‘ Marn Tau Long’ ( Jelly type of dessert ) as it reminds me also of ‘ Pang Tai Woon’ a herbal ( think it’s Raja ulam leaves juice) drink when I was young - good for cooling the body. Again - thank you Elmo for a great episode. It always makes me hungry after watching !!! Yatt Lau 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Love your video log. I go to Foo Guan Shan periodically but always seem to go back to Subang or Klang for food. Now I have something to explore there. Thanks
Thanks for sharing such nice information. Simple and direct to the point. The last part have the info of the place is very good and easy to refer. Thanks again and keep up your good posting. 👍
Another gem!! Let us know when the t shirt will be dropping, an idea also, since plastic bags are banned in almost all around NYC please make a tote bag as well. That will sell as well.
I wonder what day do you visit these places. Cause sometimes the places will be close on certain day ... Maybe in future video you can add what day do you visit these places so we can plan ahead and it would be extremely helpful.... Since most of your trips are day trips. By the way great job you did there. Keep up the good work .
Another great video .. the food shown might be simple but i am sure the taste creates its own identity . Thanks for the video ! The t-shirt idea is a good idea .. do let yr fans know when this idea can be materialize, looking forward to it ! Yes the 'man tau long' back when i used to eat in Ipoh is ice , syrup and the jelly .. nowadays they add the sour plum , when i tell them to remove it they gave me a funny look . In Ipoh whenever they sell man tau long there will always be ' pang tai woon ' as well. Thanks !
I have followed your food trail. Truly Char Kuey Tiew, cakoi and roti canai are very nice. However, duck is so so only compare to Seapark. Thanks for your coverage.
I for one, will support you if you launch merch since you're a creative artist before, your merch is something to look forward to! Also i noticed something interesting, you translate "dai kao min" as "ban chian kuey" in english. It's interesting because when i was a colleage student back then and met a lot of people from different states, they all have a different name for apam balik depending on where they're from. And lastly, another great episode. Thanks for trying out the foods for us although jenjarom is not known as a foodie place.
Apam balik is actually a kind of simple form of pancake originated in China during Qing dynasty invented by General Zuo Zongtang(左宗棠)for his soldiers without burdening too much the local folks (another source says that it was invented by General Qi Jiguang(戚继光)of Ming dynasty who countered the attacks of "dwarf pirates (倭寇)from Japan ( in reality, a lot of them are Chinese from fujian and Zhejiang provinces) with great success. Personally I prefer the " thicker" type, despite the crispy type is seems to be more popular.
Any where a chinese village or settlements in malaya if it is popular is a must to visit even mca/dap/gerakan dont know about it,u put them to shame, they talk only no action on chinese communities, keep it up,i m not into politic n hope i can go to all chinese makan shop as u mentioned if times permit, well done again elmo.
With our shared food heritage between Malaysia and Singapore, for most of the Chinese dishes, I prefer Malaysian but for Chicken rice, Singaporean chicken rice is consistently the best I have tried.
@@malaysiafood328 I just found out Malaysia banned chicken sales to Singapore OVERNIGHT. We used to supply 2 million chickens a month to them. I just feel terrible for those who depend on our chickens for their livelihood. This kind of dumb things our gov do is gonna have a long term effect. Singapore will now surely plan to have a more stable supplier. I mean couldn't our lame duck gov given them some advance notice...just lame as always...sacrificing the country for their own political bravado/ambitions.
Today Mr. Lee intro Jenjarom aplace with a very unfamiliar name Does Jenjarom still collect foreign garbage ? Unsanitary and unsafe for local residents ☹️ !
showing the marvellous foods is not good enough, viewers would like to know whether the food is value for money too, please share otherwise you are going to lose viewership real soon!!!

Elmo you' ve made a mistake in ur video here jenjarom is in kuala langat. You hv shown persatuan hokkien hulu langat in kajang.
Of course I know the hokkien asso is from Hulu Langat, what I used in video is only a visual representation. Tx for pointing out

我们是你的 网友或 观众。。不是叫粉丝?????谢谢。
对不起粉丝是我们广东话,整个世界的叫法
Hello uncle Lee。
