So it's like Ikari Warrior plus Contra with more platforming the original is cool but the remake was clunky as all hell.

I thought the remake had potential to be really awesome if they allowed you to move using WASD and target the grappling hook / gun with your mouse. It would have allowed for a lot more freedom to nail those tight angle while grappling and would have required skill, too. I thought they missed a great opportunity with that one.
