From a silent viewer, thank you for ranting online, i feel so seen in many ways and feel like i am not alone in my thoughts. I dont know you, but i feel as if i understand you. Thank you for what you do.
Just remember that the patriarchy benefits greatly from women ignoring/doubting their inner wisdom and intuition. You're not insane at all, actually quite wise & ahead of the game. I wish I had learned this in my early 20's 💜
intuition or gut feeling is nothing but a product of cognitive conditioning. It'll be easier to believe a person to have inner wisdom followed by reasoning and experience than someone who has "gut feeling" of a thing due to arbitrary means. I have had female friends who couldn't stop making assumptions of people simply because they trusted their insticsts too much and that left them with unsatisfactory resolve. That in my opinion is a dangerous thing to have. What I understood eventually is that it's a good practise to condition one's instincts so that we can trust them but reasoning and intellect should guide understanding of situation and people.
You are literally the only person whom I can listen to and feel totally validated and not alone, bc almost everything u say makes so much sense and it starts clicking together in my mind, you help me put my puzzle pieces together in such a peaceful, kind and also a funny way. You bring me so much clarity and peace. Don't ever think you are insane or that nobody gives a fuck, I know I do, I care, also these podcasts not only do they help you put ur thoughts together and understand yourself better, they also help ppl listening do the same thing. Can't wait to find a friend like you in real life. Love ya
I don’t think you really understand how impactful you are to others, this came at the craziest time in my life when I am currently realizing how much I was ignoring my intuition. You have helped me more than my own therapist and closest friends. You say everything I try to write down and self reflect about. I feel like we would be good friends. I hope one day I could tell you thank you.
its unbelievable how i find it so entertaining to watch someone just yap to the camera but its like a ritual at this point. I get home from school and just immediately put her on.
You’ve reached your target audience 🤝 literally every single bit of this is me. I highly recommend get an energy clearing done by a shaman. It really helped me with my shadow work. Literally having all of the built up stagnant energy that was fueling negative self talk just pulled right out of you. It’s actually insane how well it worked for me, placebo effect or not, I genuinely feel so much lighter and I can actually get out of bed and be happy about it
I'm a Middle Eastern girl who grew up in a religious household. Therefore, as a woman, the women in my family have always shown me that in Islam, women are thought of highly. They have power men can never have, they give birth, and they have an intuition that gives them knowledge and power. Essentially, in the modern world, much of this inherent power and consciousness is seen as nonsense or insanity. I can't confirm or disagree with what I have been told because it was built in me since I was a child to trust my womanly gut and embrace the power I've been given by God. Even though today I'm not a Muslim, I still believe that as women we hold so much power that we don't realize. I also believe in a way we're always dismissed and belittled because men realized before us how much power we hold.
Truth. I already made a comment but apparently @prettylonesome you’ve stirred up a lot, in a good way. I am a cultural psychologist and specialized in Islam and Hinduism and @walaamazen2689 is correct. Insha’allah we come together. Jai Ma ✨🛼🏳️🌈✨
fearing your intuition is simply just fearing your power. your light. trust me when I say following your intuition solely will Always make your life easier and you will feel such an innate sense of trust and unshakeable stability. and the more you follow those little intuitive nudges, the more it will grow and it will in turn make you have more self respect because you will no longer tolerate situations that do not serve your highest good. and you will learn that the part of you that fears the concept of only doing things that are good for you is a part of yourself that is unhealed, hurting and wants to keep you in the loop of fear. you will also learn to love this part of yourself and nurture and be grateful for it because it forces you to keep being self aware and choose better for yourself. all parts of our psyche serve a purpose, its all a teacher and the lesson is to never belittle yourself and honor yourself. you reading this book and having all these epiphanies is a clear sign to me that your intuition is calling you to a new level of being. when you trust your intuition, its like you remove obstacles and the obstacles that do present themselves are easier to deal with because you have this inner trust that you will know how to navigate it. your life is about to soar into a new level of ease and happiness and inner power Madeline ily
U don’t sound insane at all, this really opened my eyes. I also ignore my intuition, and it only ends badly, as the intuition is always correct. You’ve inspired me to start following my intuition instead of ignoring it too. Thank you for this💗
Excellent topic! I could listen to you talk for hours on the subject. So enthusiastic to tell what you have gleaned from your reading so far. Brava!! 👏👏👏
You are in a lucky space that you can do what the hell you want in life. Meny/most of uss are not. Well we can but the possible downsides are way way more bigger for us.
@@user-ot7lj7tp2i I’m am glad you are focused on your career. Although I believe you do speak for yourself and not “us”, as is your right. from a silent viewers pov, thankyou for uploading ever week it makes my week every time. just listening to you yap and me either cleaning my room or writing in my diary. you give me so much hope for the future and i am forever greatful
i’ve never thought how intuition is passed down, that it’s not a feeling i’ve just learned. i think hearing that gave me a sense of pride, but i’m already very prideful on my intuition. and you’re right it’s to the bone. it’s down to the steps i make and the way i turn my head. and despite my deep pride of my intuition and my knowing and seeing of energy that can lead to hurt, just like you i still don’t follow it and give excuses against my intuition to not be lonely to have friends. but at the end of the day i will always feel weird with that friend my intuition tells me not to be with. and it’s better to walk on your own a bit then to walk into discomfort or pain. and all i can do is trust that the right people will see me and i’ll see them and it’ll just fit
I love how long you talk about spiritual things, because it’s a deeper consciousness not a lot of people are open to. But the people who need it and are ready for the truth really appreciate you so much❤
this was def one of my fav episodes of your podcast!! i kept nodding to myself throughout the whole episode. im pretty sure everyone can find at least one thing to relate to and be like "oh wait, maybe i am reasonable?" ur not crazy, if that was the case half of the entire world population would also be and that too wouldnt be so bad then.
Before my last relationship ended in catastrophe, I knew what was happening. I knew he had been cheating, and I confronted him over and over, and each time he made me feel crazy. And then I found out that everything I thought was true, was true. To have someone who makes you doubt yourself, your intuition, your ancestors, is a form of emotional abuse. And after that I realized that some men can see our power, and want to diminish it, and make us doubt ourselves. Real men, the men you want in your life, will encourage your intuition and contribute to your personal discoveries. I will never doubt my gut again. You’re lovely, and I appreciated thinking on this today ❤️
This is my favourite episode ever. I feel that I am in the same place as you - I feel that I am a good person, and I generally like myself. But there is something in my psyche that hates me and hinders me from unlocking the power of a woman inside of me. You translate what’s happening in here > 🤯 < to the real world. Please share when you figure out how to put what she’s saying into action. Hahaha!
this podcast was perfectly timed for me. I’m starting a year of singleness after relying on the validation of men to validate my existence for many many years. I hesitate so strongly with trusting my gut and the bit about not having a lock on your door felt like something my higher power needed me to hear. You are not crazy. You don’t need to shut the fuck up and I can’t wait to learn more.

Thankyou… from one Madeline to another.. I can barely begin to fathom how much you speak my mind and thoughts during these 20’s years… I also have a 4 year old daughter, & am laser focused on teaching her, the magic and power of intuition, & the strength and guidance passed down to us through the other women in our tipuna or lineage… 💕💕
hey madzz x honestly your the coolest and when im going through a hard time i watch one of these a genuinely piece back together lyl keep doing what you are gorgeous xx
I would never ask you to shut up, I can't imagine ever getting tired of listening to you speak your truth! Thank you for your live journal Alright not never but you know what I mean
I bought the book after your last book review pod, “everyone who can read should read this book” I’m on page 225 and I’m so grateful to book club with you! This book is eye opening to understand / access the psyche of the “wild woman” and all the ancient intelligence of the feminine. YAGA !!! Yes please
I love you ! You’ve helped me so much through my breakup and my own self journey of finding myself again ! I love this video very much. I used to always ignore my gut feeling but now I am learning to trust it more and more 💜 sending love and peace
My daughter sent this to me. We come from a long line of witchy women. This was powerful for her. I knew everything you were talking about before or didn’t name it. Clarissa’s book. Bluebeard (hfs, no?!). Cinderella sorting the seeds. You’re precious. I’m a psychologist so I’m credentialed to say you are not insane ✨😉🫶
For me, having children was the pivotal point when it came to intuition and decision making. Always trust your motherly instincts!! So no matter what, any mistakes you make now is still a lesson learned. You can live in peace in knowing that. I respect that you have such a profound self awareness to think about your future kids and I’m glad you have spoken about this for your listeners. I could only wish I had these thoughts before I had kids.
i love listening to a fellow thought daughter talk, i don’t have enough of these conversations and it’s what I deeply want and need. Intuition is such a blessing and a curse, when I’m dating somebody and have that knowing that they’re also cheating or not a good person AGAIN, i always tell my friends, “I don’t want to be right, I just want to finally be happy” so this video resonated with me and I think I need to read it asap.
Just came back for a spiritual retreat with a couple of chaman during 3 days and worked on healing my heart, wanting to see and trusting my instincts and also healing my feminine. This resonates so much and encourages me, I will definitely read this book.
Amazing. You mind and brain is exactly how I think. All your videos have really been a reflection of how I see and experience life. Refreshing to actually have someone express the intuitive sense ❤
Love you. I don't stop in often but when I read the title I decided to because I've been contemplating what it takes to do well in the games I play and intuition certainly plays a large role, especially having played some of these games for many years now. Of course unfortunately I was seeking something actionable and found it comedic when you made it clear you were only sort of reflecting but you should know I still found this helpful. Thank you for what you do. Even as a man I feel you btw. I resonate with the feelings of discomfort you express. I think they're related to something else I've been contemplating; something very sinister: the sense of futility. I believe belief in futility has dragged humanity and the world into the state it's in today and by that I mean it has informed most of all bad choices. I believe belief in futility causes depression - I believe it caused my own. Belief in futility causes futility because acting in accordance with a belief in futility makes futility inevitable. If you don't believe in a richer, better future you will generate a poorer, worse one. All things matter. Something is never nothing. I believe belief in futility is ignorance. Please don't believe in futility if you sense it. It is wrong.
27:10 THATS SO REAL i appreciate you saying that because i'm like that and i have that exact experience but i then had to learn that those people (unfortunately majority of the people who would surround me) were not my people and my people are the ones who are tune with themselves too i love you madeline and i love the book we align like that
Clarissa is still alive, she lives in California. When I was in LA I met two older women in a coffee shop that ended up guiding and helping me through a very scary situation. (I was reading the book at the time) One of them knows Clarissa.
Your are not crazy whatsoever everything you said makes perfect sense. I'm actually reading the book right now and randomly pressed on this video (the universe sending me a sign to continue) its taking me a while too cause you need to really focus and listen to the wisdom but I actually believe if women start listening to their intuition it will change everything. I get all your worries I have the same but I feel like we just need to jump off that cliff take the leap and let intuition guide us onto the right path. much love to you, thank you for sharing feels like a book club at this point
this is a sign and i woke up today not wanting to go to this party and even had a nightmare about it and had a gut feeling about it and now watching this i am NOTTTT GOINGGGG
@@charliecavanagh8217 yes i’m okay and fortunately the guy i’m talking to ubered a whole hour to me just to take care of me while i was on edge of blackout
You're extremely intelligent just an fyi. I WISH people had conversations like this irl. I'm 15 years old and live in a small conservative town in America. I feel like I have no choice but to isolate myself because people over here (especially people my age) are actually rabid. I even went as far as to pull myself out of school and start homeschooling. My parents didn't mind because our local high school gets school shooting threats on a pretty regular basis. So with that being said, I appreciate you making these videos. I can tell you keep it real and I respect that. Because I'm alone all the time, I read A LOT. So I thank you for the book recommendation and also thank for giving me the pleasure of listening to a rational person speak. Take care and god bless.
it is thanks to you that I decided to buy the book ("Donne che corrono con i lupi", in italian😛)when you first talked about it in your video. when I tell you it is literally changing my way of thinking and acting... also we are kind of "reading it together" and I love to hear your thoughts about it and compare them to mine. you literally are an inspiration! thank you thank youuu
Honestly I loved this whole video, excited to read this book for myself. Also just really love your honesty and forwardness with everything you have to say!
Girlie I experienced the same things when I was reading this book, and it was so beautiful. She's such a gift to us girls. She's like a teching ancestor to all women.
I love that book - it saved my life back in 2014. I still need to keep going back to it. I am so thrilled - and not one bit surprised - you are so into it too. It actually gives you the step-y-step instructions or techniques about how to safeguard yourself as a woman instead of a load of psychobabble. I related to it because the story of Vasalisa is LITERALLY my real one (apart from the skull!)
Madz, I cannot explain to you how much I relate to everything you just said. Or at least I did at some point. Because I no longer doubt my intuition. When something or someone doesn't feel right, I make sure to act on it if necessary. I always share my thoughts with my people if I feel that someone they've met didn't pass my vibe check. And I almost always know right away. I've been able to do this ever since I started prioritising my self-esteem and confidence. I did it to a point that borderlines on narcissism, but I do believe that in some cases, it is necessary to get to that point. It is also true that this isolates you quite a bit. A lot of people don't like it or they don't understand it. But why would you want to be around those people anyway. When you get to a point where you love, appreciate, and understand yourself enough, that little detail stops bothering you. Because you're content with your own company and that of the people who truly love and support you. That's not saying that you should cut everyone out of your life, but maybe keep them at arm's length. And be very cautious of what you say or do around them. Anyway, I just wanted to thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. It is so nice to listen to someone that I relate to so much. So again, thank you. You have no idea how much we appreciate it🩷
No THANK YOU! so much for this video. Woke up this morning and needed this video. Needed this book. Really needed at least one person one this earth who my soul resonates with the way I do you. Would absolutely love to discuss notes? 🥺
I've been reading this for 8 months now. I am now on chapter 14. This book taught me lot especially the Motherless mother, the red shoes lady and normalising the abnormal which is being nice.
MADELINE I RELATE SO MUCH TO THIS EPISODE OH MY. I'm a casual listener and have been following you for a while now. I'd love to hear more about your thoughts on this book once you've finished it.
it's actually insane that we started reading this book around the same time. I had to take a break from it because I needed more time to digest the content, but i'll take this video as a sign to pick it up again. it truly is such a valuable mentor. when you finish it, I recommend you start The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron, it's basically a guide on how to cultivate the gift of creation which lies within us all and it takes you on a wild and exciting spiritual path. it became my bible when it comes to self development. and please stop doubting yourself, your stories and lessons happen exactly the way they should and they always come at the perfect time for us to receive them. at least that's how it's been for me ever since i discovered your channel last year. i'm super grateful you decided to yap into a mic and post it on the internet
do you think that these two books kind of highlight the importance of our ovaries too much? as if it’s a completely defining point, and bringing us back full circle to just being vessels for child birth. The concept is just making me uneasy and I feel like it’s hinted at in both books mentioned
@@Kailyn-j1z I mean in a way yeah, I get ur point, they definitely highlight women's ability to give birth but only to emphasize our innate creative power. like we are born with this gift, this thing that only us women can do. of course all ppl can create in general but both authors emphasize that women are just naturally more creative, artistic, intuitive, more emotion-based(for a lack of a better term), like we just feel things deeper. if we allow ourselves (and practice) we can tap into this inner knowing in our bodies(feeling) rather than in our minds(thinking).
Okay, I’m only like 3 minutes in and I love the chaotic energy, because ME! Thank you for you, thank you for sharing! Edit: Intuition is absolutely a gift and it is such a gift to be in tune with! 🎉❤ I love this because I’ve also ignored my intuition as well but at some point I realize it isn’t worth it because I went on so many unneeded detours versus just being where you are truly meant to be.

I love you ! You’ve helped me so much through my breakup and my own self journey of finding myself again ! I love this video very much. I used to always ignore my gut feeling but now I am learning to trust it more and more 💜 sending love and peace
really loved this episode mads
I could only wish I had these thoughts before I had kids.
with or without a tan MISS GIRL IS ALWAYS STUNNING
Madeline thank you so much for this podcast u are the best
You just confirmed everything in my life for myself thank you.
E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G you say makes perfect sense madeline and it's so amazing that you share these thoughts
i love listening to a fellow thought daughter talk, i don’t have enough of these conversations and it’s what I deeply want and need. Intuition is such a blessing and a curse, when I’m dating somebody and have that knowing that they’re also cheating or not a good person AGAIN, i always tell my friends, “I don’t want to be right, I just want to finally be happy” so this video resonated with me and I think I need to read it asap.
and being right will only lead you to your happiness
@@bewme2005 I needed that, it’s hard to feel that way in the moment. One day I know I’ll be thankful for the times I was right
Just came back for a spiritual retreat with a couple of chaman during 3 days and worked on healing my heart, wanting to see and trusting my instincts and also healing my feminine. This resonates so much and encourages me, I will definitely read this book.
Amazing. You mind and brain is exactly how I think. All your videos have really been a reflection of how I see and experience life.
Refreshing to actually have someone express the intuitive sense ❤
this is the most interesting podcast episode i have ever watched xx
Seeing how passionate you are about this topic is so great
she is the realest out here bro🩷
Girl I love the book too, thanks for bringing it to my attention and it’s literally changing my life too!

THATS SO REAL
i appreciate you saying that because i'm like that and i have that exact experience
but i then had to learn that those people (unfortunately majority of the people who would surround me) were not my people
and my people are the ones who are tune with themselves too
i love you madeline and i love the book
we align like that
Loved this episode, and the topic. Here on a journey of tuning into my intuition better as well.
This is the type of convo I’d have at 3am under the stars with friends. Haven’t had one of them for a while, so thank you💗
Do more like this, ily!!!!
same journey for me these last few weeks :) sending you love, still nice to hear your podcast!! thank you 💗
This whole podcast felt like that episode from Friends where the girls were reading 'Be your own windkeeper' ahaha love it! here for it!
Clarissa is still alive, she lives in California. When I was in LA I met two older women in a coffee shop that ended up guiding and helping me through a very scary situation. (I was reading the book at the time) One of them knows Clarissa.
i really loved this episode, may even be my favorite one yet. we need more with similar topics!!!

This whole episode makes so much sense

I literally bought the book because of you❤ plz keep discussing it,it’s so fun listening kind of like a book club 💕

Book name
@@Kailyn-j1z I mean in a way yeah, I get ur point, they definitely highlight women's ability to give birth but only to emphasize our innate creative power. like we are born with this gift, this thing that only us women can do. of course all ppl can create in general but both authors emphasize that women are just naturally more creative, artistic, intuitive, more emotion-based(for a lack of a better term), like we just feel things deeper. if we allow ourselves (and practice) we can tap into this inner knowing in our bodies(feeling) rather than in our minds(thinking).
I just ordered that book. Pls keep yapping

Edit: Intuition is absolutely a gift and it is such a gift to be in tune with! 🎉❤ I love this because I’ve also ignored my intuition as well but at some point I realize it isn’t worth it because I went on so many unneeded detours versus just being where you are truly meant to be.
