- Back at it with part 2 of the dzus fastener install. This weekend we attach the rear apron back on. I have not used it in a couple years and we’re going to start using it again. Very simple installation and I’m very happy with the results.

Every time I weld, I get splatter somewhere on my body 😅. It’ll be time to invest in some welding gear!

Humble suggestions: Truck bed liner is heavy. I'd use paint instead. And black will be difficult to see any spills/leaks etc vs a lighter color. A light satin/gloss grey would be my choice and it looks very professional. I'd also fill up any extra holes etc in the firewall that you aren't going to use (if there are any).
The dzus fasteners look great on there and I"m sure they'll work well for you. Good job and good luck on your build.
Thank you very much for the suggestion. I’m going to look at my options for paint at my local shop. Most of the holes in the fire wall are being used but thats a good suggestion as well to plug/cover them. I don’t expect any leaks to go on the firewall but black will definitely be an option for me. 🤙🏼
