Wow that is a dramatic difference. Big chunks gone. Less evenly gone compared to Skipsea. Caravans etc dangerously close to the edge not to mention the fishermen. Fascinating to see. Well done 👏
You're most welcome. Our coastline is the fastest eroding in Europe, it's been very interesting comparing all the unprotected villages up and down the coast. Davey
The cliffs are clay, soil, sand and bits of rock and pebble. You can not stop evolution and erosion of a coastline like that, it is what it is. Gaz Yorkshire coast.
There is definitely enough material in the UK to protect the coastline. Concrete block, plenty of bricks from demolished buidling a gravel around...wby not protect the coastlin

It's a really fascinating way of seeing changes...🫣☺️
Another brilliant video really enjoy this type of footage keep up the great work you do mate 👍👍👍
Very much appreciated 😁
Good fishing spot here, had a few bass of late. Nice video.
I get quite a few comments from fishermen.
I learn a lot from the wise buggers 😅
Nice one mate. At least the fish and chip shop is still there. Yummy
😅 you'll have to be quick
I think that’s the worst one yet for sea erosion comparison for how much land has been lost. Great comparison work yet again Davy 👏👏👏👍
Yea, it's pretty bad there...shocked myself when editing the vid!
Cheers buddy 😁
My gosh. Like Pacifica, CA and so many others. Thankyou for the video.

@@timothystravels8492 When did the erosion begin?
@fjkelley4774 It's always been happening, but since some of the areas now have sea defences, the damage is increasing in the unprotected areas.
So much has been lost at the caravan park this year 😢. Could you do the same sort of video along the front of the site towards Barmston please?
Yes, I will..I'm trying to cover most of the coastline between Flamborough and Spurn
@timothystravels8492 thank you 😊 your videos are brilliant ❤
@@coasttocoastcaravanning6138 I've got a couple of real shockers to come...filmed them today. 🫣
I've been to Ulrome today to have a look at the erosion. There is quite a bit of property coming to the demolition phase soon I guess.
I reckon so..let's see what the winter storms bring! 😵💫

True, no stopping it, very interesting to document it! 😊
Yeah, coastlines erode. Thats why people strengthen the shorelines with boulders and wave breakers.
The places I'm focusing on aren't protected, the erosion around them has increased since the strengthening of other areas.
There is definitely enough material in the UK to protect the coastline. Concrete block, plenty of bricks from demolished buidling a gravel around...wby not protect the coastlin
I guess it's down to money and politics 🤷
