Where is Raging Phoenix? Zealantis and Raging Phoenix is very powerful OTK Stragety
could you please elaborate that combination? I know Zealantis can remove all opponent field (monsters) but you summon them again in the order you want.... is it maybe activating it's effect while Promethean Princess is on the field?
@@s117turbo it work if your opp control atleast 1 monster, you just use Zealantis to banish both field then resummon both back and since there is a monster special summon to opp field you can trigger Princess to destroy opp monster and one of your fire like Garunix for example destroy both and because a fire you control get destroy raging phoenix trigger to come back from GY and gain atk, this also set up Zealantis battle phase pop effect to clear some card on opp board to ensure otk

Bro una pregunta, para un torneo entre amigos en Edopro cada uno debe usar un Deck exclusivo del anime y a mi me tocó el arquetipo "Cup" o "Taza" que se basa en que si te destruyen algún monstruo rompes la mano, Zona de mágicas y trampas y zona de monstruos. que cartas me recomiendas?

What do you think about that Normal Spell “Soul Release”?
I think banish 5 cards from any GYs (not OPT) is decent but being a Normal Spell is too slow.
i think to counter this deck a btter option would be dd crow or called since you get utility against other deck too

Question for people who have been around for a while, has any splashable engine been as well represented as the snake eyes engine? I feel like every relevant deck I see plays it. Was dogmatika this popular a few years ago?
If you’re only including full engines then the only one I can think is punk but if not dpe halc adventure zoodiac with that being said it’s only a matter of time b4 the banlist comes knocking
The adventrue engine back in late 2021-early 2022 was, probably. Also not exactly an engine, but the Halqifibrax to Accesscode package was almost everywhere before Halq was banned.
- DPE with Fusion Destiny while Verte was legal.
- Adventure Engine (but to a lesser extent)
- Knightmare turned Orcust into an engine for many decks that could spare 2 monsters (even for Iblee lock without the Orcusts)
- Triple Engage with 1 Hornet + Afterburner/Widow was also a popular engine (but to a lesser extent)
- Shaddoll Fusion saw a lot of play as going a second engine

Honestly speaking? I think historically the one that has seen some of the most representation overall has to be Zoodiac. Simply because adding Zoodiacs to your deck just was such a force multiplier.

Idk maybe I'm wrong, but princess seems like a one format card and then bye bye stuck on the banlist for like 10 years lol. And tbh I think she is the real problem, fire decks are good without her but I feel like they are somewhat fair. Maybe wanted to 2 just to make them loose a bit more to droll do to bonfire and not have the ability to just outplay it in the draw phase.

Bonfire... why yugioh why - firekings were such a fun deck back then really wanted to pick them up and sure I will - but now its meta, why are the decks I like meta :(
not to mention 3x Wanted and 3x Bonfire ... nice thats all the money gone you saved by buying structure deck content...
I would have minimized the snake-eye engine and played more fire king cards imo, otherwise I was playing pure snake-eye at this point
post PHNI that is the correct way to build the deck, since the snake-eye engine gets you into the fire king engine and the fire king stuff is the worse part of the deck.
@@XrosBreakerhonestly in testing I find that having less fire king cards makes it a lot worse. A: you get rolled in the mirror match and B: recovery doesn’t feel as good. You also lose to more of the hand traps that snake-eyes loses to that fire kings can play through. Having an almost perfect 50/50 ratio, as if playing both decks is always felt stronger, not to mention fire king gives more protection on snake eyes stuff.
interesting I find it quite the opposite tbh. If Ponix or island gets ashed you most of the time end your turn if you don't have any other names in hand. If Snake-Eye Ash gets ashed you can still activate its 2nd effect to get Flamberge and play from there. The only handtraps FK can play through are imp and veiler cuz we have the 2 quick spells and 3 Kirin, normal summon Arvata doesn't really do anything on its own alone (as a counter measure for HT). You would run 3 Kirins anyway, -1 Syk Burn since we play less FK, adding Circle is debatable since it gets better the more Fire monsters you play, if you weren't playing it already. You don't need more than 1 Ponix since the other Snake-Eyes can recycle it (or you can even recycle it with itself)I think its pretty clear that the Snake-Eye stuff is the superior part of the deck, since you can do all the same stuff pure FK can do + more, while still playing through several handtraps and keeping the FK engine on a low count @@AndrewUdal
@@XrosBreaker I mean imperm on snake-eyes is just as deadly as ash on ponix, not that anyone in their right mind would ever ash a ponix. Also your point you brought up about ending your turn unless you have extra names is exactly why I play more, so that I don’t. Also opening sanctuary is killer in mirror match, because not being able to protect island is a big problem with the snake-eyes ash version, not that many players actually target the island, because that card either A: forces disruption to keep in the game or B: completely removes every point on interaction the deck has.
The biggest thing is the extra fire king cards let’s you play through like 3 hand traps even if well timed whereas a single imperm can kill the snake-eyes portion unless you open bonfire or kirin (though popping snake-eye ash always feel bad) or the very limited amount of fire kings you do play. Also more fire king cards just means more consistently cause you end up having like 18+ starters in which half the cards are also extenders. I mean it plays with the hands that aren’t just ash in hand because that’s not that common and if you go bonfire for it droll kills you.
The trick with the deck is you gotta make it play both sides without needing the other, that way if one engine stops the other takes over and you still either A: end on the exact same end board or B: have slightly less but our grind your opponent.
