So so nice to see both of your beautiful faces today...I loved seeing the daffodils...the promise of another spring to come...the frozen rain not so much! Thank you....
I think I may have said this before, but your mudlarking channel is the only one I just cannot fast forward because I love every second you two are on.
Try as I may I just can't get into any of the other mudlarking channels, I'm sure they are all very nice people but I get bored and fast forward or just stop watching. Everything about Gail and Alex's channel is perfect, not one second is wasted on filling time.
Once again, a soothing mudlarking sonnet to fuel the soul. I find myself lost in your adventures , like long lost friends meeting again to journey the same path, and look forward to each encounter . Your selection of music, scenic beauty and gentle ways replenish the spirit .
Lovely green poison and perfume! And I do love a bottlestopper! Beautiful scenery and wildlife shots! Your Chanel has grown immensely, it's wonderful to see, since I've been here since the beginning! Well done, ladies!💖
That glimpse into springtime was a nice treat for these midwinter blues. Seeing the daffodils and forsythia was great food for daydreaming. Also the narration to go along with the finds was so creative.
Your videos are always put together so well. I loved the sounds of the water and the random close ups of nature you always include. Soothing, as always ❤
@@NorthernMudlarks Your surroundings are very beautiful Gail and Alex. Someday in the [hopefully near] future, I can get over there to the UK and see the countryside with my own two little eyeballs. I loved the bottles; that doll's head was really creepy with the teeth. I was surprised at how small the roundup was. I'm curious...did the two of you go back for that miniature slate table you found on on of your previous videos? The video where you were finding all those tiles for your porch steps?
Beautiful film. It is so relaxing to watch. It reminded me of a meditation film with gorgeous scenery and Gail’s soothing voice. I just love how you presented the history of each found treasure.
I love watching you find and reveal treasures, but I also love your beautiful videos of the nature you encounter as well as your soothing music choices to accompany them. Truly balm for the soul in troubled times. Thankyou!
Thank you for the glimpse of spring in a beautiful setting. Well done on finding treasure in a new dump, I guess it's not always as easy as it looks 😊, take care xx
It gives me such joy to watch your wonderful videos. The peaceful view of the river and birds. Gave me such a feeling of repose. To be able to discover the wonderful finds in such a place. Thankyou for sharing.
Hi lovely ladies, the opening was so beautiful, and a reminder of late winter with the promise of spring. Loved the poison bottle. From a rather warmer Australia 🇦🇺 much love Sue Gosling ❤
As a fellow Aussie Susan I have to ask you if you reckon that was snow falling onto the tree ring? Is that what snow falling looks like? I don't wanna look like an idiot but a fellow Aussie understands that some of us have never seen snow. And isn't this channel just the best? I have to confess to being a little envious that there is no where in Australia that we could really mudlark at.
@@roygeorge5364 It’s not quite snow. It’s more like graupel, clumps of snowflakes that get refrozen on the way down and turn into little mini snowballs. Not icy like hail, but still solid clumps. After a long winter in the Pacific Northwest, I could write novels about snow. It was fun to watch this video and dream of springtime.
@@ashleyschenk764 thanks for explaining that to me mate. It looked lovely on the tree ring, and made me think that a snowy Christmas must be lovely to experience. But a hot Christmas is just the best!! I was born in the northern hemisphere, but was bought down under when I was 3, and I don't regret it. It's 40° Celcius today! Thanks for answering mate, and have a good day.
I like these shorter formats, although it means we get a bit less of you two too. I have so many YT videos to watch every week, 45mins and more is a commitment I'm not always prepared to make but 20 mins I can do while drinking coffee in the morning before work - just like I am now. I hope they are getting you a boost :)
I love your adventures and you both find interesting items. One of the other things is your photography and scenery is so beautiful and love watching it. The sleet coming down so peaceful.
Such great editing,I thank you and appreciate all that goes into putting out these great videos, the beauty of nature and the beautiful music and the excitement of unearthing the great treasures,so well done, really enjoyed it,made me forget about all the Covid and stuff and see the beauty in the world.
Hello, Lovely Ladies and Gents. A small video full of big enjoyment. It sure was a beautiful location. I see larkers picking up screw top bottles and discarding them, "Oh it's nice, but it's just a screw-top." When it comes to sweet little parfume' bottles, we don't even notice and or care whether it's a screw-top. Thanks for rescuing them, Ladies. : ) Thoroughly enjoying your narrations, Gail. Both you and Alex have soothing voices that could tame the wild creatures.
What a wonderful video and a vrestw surprise to get the notification y'all posted. Found some intriguing items too. That tiny little perfume bottle was darling.
What a beautiful place to tip lark, so much beautiful scenery and bird song plus the water. I’ve been in Australia since 1972 then I see your videos and still get homesick lol. Thank you for sharing all nature’s beauty. Love the history lesson too on the beautiful items you found. Take care and stay safe and well 👏👍🥰❤️
@@NorthernMudlarks hey, do you guys have a poison bottle with its contents still in it? I can think of a few ways to use it! LOL. Uuuuuhhh, not really………hmmmmmmm…….lol. Barb
Absolutely beautiful! Reminds me why I need to finally visit the UK 🇬🇧 in 2022! Kinda forgot how inordinately good your videos are!!! Hope more video goodness comes !!
I'm not sure why... But I started crying after watching this video (pathetic, I know). Something about your soft commentary on the treasures you found released such a heavy feeling of calm. I've been so overwhelmed lately and just sitting for a moment and enjoying your adventure made such a difference to my mood. Thank you so much for this video. I'm so happy I found your channel.
I had my very first attempt at making sea glass necklaces today, watching your channel has inspired me so much, I look forward to watching your videos and love your intro music xxx
What a glorious place! I would love to just sit on the bank of that stream and take in all of God's great works! You girls have such a wonderful way of filming! Please be careful and stay safe! ❤
Not only do you learn about the people who owned these things, but also you can learn about yourselves, the people who sought out and selected items to bring into your home. The choices you have made, and the reasons why, and what you will do with them, are just as informative.
The beauty of bird song in the background. xx
The days when we used no plastic.
