Ok guys, before you go tell peta or osha or something, read this comment. The trainers are no longer allowed to be in the water with the whales IN ORLANDO. They are allowed to in Texas and California, but they don't in shows. This is not illegal, ok? And this is desentization training. It's where trainers make huge distractions in the water and the other trainers try to keep the whales attention the whole time. It's basically to make sure if a trainer falls into the water with a whale, they won't attack the trainer. Ok?
Keet is such a sweet boy and clearly enjoys having the trainers in the water with him! He is obviously on his best behavior and very responsive here. Glad you got these on camera!
And the trainer wasnt forced in there. They love what they do and no all the risk other wise they wouldn't be doing THIS. They would have a desk job. Love ya seaworld
Themepark247360 seems like it... maybe Ulises too, although I haven't seen him with trainers in the water unless theres a believe video with him in it...
Tilikum16 Uli was been on and off with waterworks for a long time. He was never agressive but sometimes they stopped him because he exhibited very strange behaviour whilst trainers were in close contact.
Yes, animals and humans are spectacular and each deserves its natural habitat and freedom to live where and how nature intended. I'm sure these captive Whales are loved dearly by those who try to take care of them but you know in your heart and it is well documented, all captive whales are not living healthy, happy lives.
Denise Frame-Leitch desentization training. This is making sure in case a trainer falls in the pool, the orcas won't attack. You can see the trainer splashing and making noise at first making sure keet keeps his focus on the other trainers at all times so things don't get "wrong on so many levels"
Shawn Mason if you are going to criticize seaworld and if you disagree with their establishment, then i do not understand why you and other people who share you beliefs watch and comment. like yeah first amendment rights and all that but you commenting is not going to make a difference.

As you can see they are training the whales to react calmly when there are random splashes.

i think they are trying to train the orca not to react if somebody falls in the water..
Keet finds it VERY reinforcing to have trainers in the water with him. As does Corky.

Sorry, didn’t realize that pins were 50 feet deep
This is so wrong on so many levels

should be sending this video to osha to show them how seaworld is putting its workers at risk, seems seworld thinks they are above the law as usual
The OSHA citation applies only to SeaWorld Orlando and not to the other parks including San Diego as seen here. This is perfectly legal.
Also OSHA's regulations apply only to shows. This isn't a show.
