Isnt it too much using it every night for 5 nights? I've been using it once a week as retinol seems to really effect my skin. It has made my skin purge which I'm not liking, but I heard that's normal for a retinol. Lots of people have used this every night and ended up with red, inflamed and peeling skin. I think they need to add better instructions. That velvety feel is the dimethicone.

I definitely recommend picking up a toner + an all time fav is a mud mask by the brand Shea moisture it’s a clarifying face mask! So helps leaving skin feel soft + helps improve skin when having an acne flare up. $2 at Walmart (comes in black and orange packaging) and I would try giving some acne spot treatment stickers a try you can find them at any grocery store or Walgreens/cvs. They help hide and fight pimples. Hope that helps ☺️
Differin works for my breakouts! I have breakouts here and there, acne prone/oily skin. Differin is a gel with 0.1% adapalene. Thin layer on ur face every night (use only at night) before bed and follow it with moisturizer. I use it consistently and it works for me.

I would definitely give this night cream a try and a few others from this line such as the eye cream. The retinal will help improve skin imperfections / help lighten the areas that have pigmentation . As well as any products that mention helping improve complexion.
I recommend that you continue these creams as I do but once you get into your late 30's like 35 you should start fillers and botox. Continue that as long as you can with the skin products.
