Hello, this was a very informative video. Great job! Thank you for taking the time to do it and post it. How is it to buy a modular/mobile property in La Vernia in a county road, almost 2 acres lot as a retirement home where we would like to do gardening and planting trees? How’s the water supply in La Vernia? I appreciate any tips. Thanks.
Definitely on the list to do a more in depth video on Floresville. Feel free to reach out and I can give you more specifics and answer your questions! 830-832-2466
Perhaps for some. But whilst in Houston I've had jobs within the city that required a 1-1.5hr commute for less than a 24mile distance. I've also traveled from Cypress (suburb of Houston) to Navasota for work (around 50 or so mile distance) and just shy under 1 hour. So 40 minutes for me would be considered doable. Especially if the tradeoff is a wonderful home on a large lot, great school district and peace of mind from the hustle and bustle of the city. To each his own.
There are tons actually! La Vernia is mostly 1+ acre communities. The ones in this video were The Timbers and Hondo Ridge. Both have several homes for sale and lots for sale. Give me a call if have some specific questions about them! 830-832-2466
La Vernia is a great and growing area... I love the 1 acre lots. Some of the houses are overvalued but I'm hoping the market comes down some and the prices level out.
Don't forget to tell everyone about the horrible Schools. Check out the News. KSAT NEWS, HORRIBLE EMPS AND STUDENTS! My kids and grandkid would never be allowed to go to school there. Be warned ⚠️
Are you talking about the issue from five years ago? Yeah, I’m sure those kids are still there causing issues since they got arrested. Also, none of the administration is the same so there’s that as well. La Vernia schools are some of the highest rated in the area.
@LifeinSATX ONE of the main kids works at the Den that you are supporting! And the administration has not changed! Teachers are still there and we're NOT DISCIPLINED!
@@mavisspillman1407 none of the coaches are there. The teachers had nothing to do with it. If they knew, they should be fired but obviously there’s no changing your position. Have a good day. La Vernia is still an awesome place to be.
What about the administrator that had a inappropriate relationship with one of the students after all that happened?? I moved my family out of that town as fast as I could! Sorry you don't divulge everything!
I don’t believe I’ve ever said they are part of San Antonio but they are 100% the suburbs. And people who are moving here, are likely considering the suburbs as well. Many of them are also only at 20-30 minute drive to downtown. Not too far away at all.
People came from the city and the bad parts of SA as well and brought their hoodrat mentality. Also now they drive crazy here now. People respected one another here until the last 5 years.
The keyword is “more” affordable buddy. Throw this house up in north SA and it’s $1million. If you’re talking about affordable housing, it’s definitely not that and I’m not trying to insinuate that it is.
Are there any homes for sale that do NOT have HOA?
Thank you very much for the info. I wish you would also point out how much the HOA costs are per community and possibly what that may cover.

We love La Verna and are looking for and acre lot, but are looking on the more affordable side. I’d love to see your feedback on Floresville.

40 min commute to work is a nightmare. Its appealing if I was a remote worker but would never drive that far for work. Nice lots though.

Good point.
Hi! Great video! What is the name of the neighborhood for the acre properties?

Too much sand,if I want sand I'll go to the beach 😊
Definitely a negative for a lot of people but when you can get houses and property this size for the price, it makes it worth it for a lot of people.
add compost or potting soil above. It's an easy enough fix if that's an objection.
Cuanto cuesta
Too much for you.
Why do you clump these small towns on the outskirts as parts of San Antonio!?? Many of them are Miles away!!

He never clumped it as part of San Antonio. Quite literally said it's in La Vernia. smh
Lol! Can no one keep a secret.
how the hell do you call a $700K proce "affordable" ?!?!?
WHAT A JOKE !!!!

There are plenty of homes below that proce point as well with 1+ acre lots. And for some; with a two household income, that price point is affordable.
“Extremely affordable”?? You must be loaded with $$$
Have you looked at houses on an acre lately? “Extremely affordable” is relative to homes very similar to these in other areas around San Antonio.
@@LifeinSATX look at garden villas in Houston Texas. 1 acre lots.
Problem is, you're still in Texas.
