It's exactly the same trying to learn Japanese in the West. No matter what we do to try to learn more Japanese, we never need to use it in our daily lives in the West, so it's very easy to forget it and then we have to start all over again. I watch many Japanese channels on UA-cam, but other than that, I never hear it and never need to speak it.

By the way, I was born in Asakusa as well as my mother and her family so that makes your channe personal to me. It has changed so much from just after the war till now. It's all good. Dismiss, or disband? When we talk we don't casually say the word disband. To say that we left a job because of a manager when talking to friends, people say," they fired the manager" or," I stoped working under that manager". Disband is only protocol for official paperwork. To say that you dissed the manager would be slang talk and considered very casual, or even aggressive. Diss is a combination of disrespect, or disband, or dismissal. "The manager got dissed for being a bad guy", would be a pop culture phrase/sentence in America.
I liked that you spoke about you Idol experience. We were on similar levels of idolship. In America Freestyle Bmx, and Skateboarding, and Inline, and kick scooters have a common mass influence. Just like being a Idol of different levels or pro status. I respect your efforts, and wish you the best in the after-math. And since you have this experience under your belt, I welcome you to also consider camp counseling opportunities. You don't have to know the criteria to be a counselor at a gymnastics or sports or other youth sumercamps. And camp Woodward is very high quality. There might even be one in Japan. Mid-level is a pluss for that kind of work. Look for fashion shows, industry mixers, and emerging talent in career development too. Your very pretty. I get what being unknown is like too. Just doing things for penimistic reasons. Keeping the keeping on, staying down, and being real. I'm glad you weren't a sell out for the money. To many accidents and lives cut short in the pursuit of money.❤ Underground
Penimistic is a old English word that means to pertain to the mind or spirit. It's not the easiest word to find, sorry. And just in case you were wondering I was a BMX camp counselor at Woodward PA, and skatepark manager in las vegas, and sponsored and did pro shop work here in Las Vegas NV, and was a contracted stunt showman to perform Freestyle BMX. No joke. I'm also a Veteran of the US Coast Guard.
I'm sorry you didn't like your talent manager. Many people don't like plant based balanced nutrition drinks that are no added sugar, vegan, non GMO, dairy free, soy free, and no artificial sweeteners. I'm hoping to get my Japanese good enough to take lesson on italki! I have only been learning for a few weeks and memorize Hiragana and Katakana and I have had lots of fun. Japanese is such a fun language! I don't know enough to practice yet, though.

A bit of a reverse of you, I tried to self-teach myself Japanese about 25 years ago now and I used charts and a dictionary working off of Super Famicom cartridges, boxes, manuals and I got ok and translation of basic words, or a few words but got stuck. I eventually took a year of classes in school and got an easy A in both between the teacher (had just retired from NHK) and the book + videos that went with it (which are now free on UA-cam, and I still have my books!) I got fluent enough at an elementary school level and it stuck with me for a few years but I got rusty from lack of use like you. I've had an interest in the last couple years trying again, but I have not been able to be consistent, the book is hard to go back to, and using some apps I've found like duolingo don't stick with me. A few months ago VIZ media uploaded all of Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon subtitled and I went through the entire series, and I started to remember some words and the grammar was still making sense so it's not a lost cause. It would be a wonder having someone as well spoken as you to help with that as you got help in that video here from Kiki.

As you know, I used to teach English. Specifically, I taught English grammar, comprehension, writing, and literature and worked with many students whose native language was not English. I also taught myself Spanish and consider myself fluent now so I know the challenges and triumphs of learning other languages from both the teacher and student perspective. I commend you for your dedication. Thank you for sharing your experiences!

I try to do like some koreans I was living with in Tokyo. Listen to radio. But most of them I can find. Play mostly music. And for some reason, when I hear music. I cut out the lyrics.
Has found one that are lesser with music, but are quite keen to play Enka. I have no problem with listen to Enka.
It is like eating soft ice cream, one or to two is okay in a row. But if you are on the fifth or higher. You feel you reach some limit.

For me as a Filipino, my English language is still much better than any Japanese people around there because we were influenced by some of the social media users from the United States and we are always watching movies in English.
