  • @SankeyMagic

    If you have two coins in your pocket.after the half pass, you could get the rubber band (and secretly palm one of the coins.) Then when you wrap band around pack, secretly slip coin between bottom card and band. Then OPEN introduce the other coin, mention something about 'a modest bet,' and slip the coin between rubber band and top card. (Continue as per the video.) A fun, visual convincer. Touch more theatre as well.

      SankeyMagic as always. Great idea! there is nothing better than a secured public. another idea i this one: take the band off and as they keep looking at the signed playing card put the deck in order and deliveredly show it arround. Cheers Jay!

      @redviper324 9 років тому

      Do you really have to control the card to the bottom? Can't you just have a pinkie break after the chosen card and then half pass the bottom half? Or is that too risky?

    • @FreakFilms101
      @FreakFilms101 9 років тому +1

      +Carl Gengenwin you can do that if you are finishing with it I guess but it leaves you in a compromising position if you want to continue because you won't know exactly where the deck reverses in order to fix it

    • @BigRawb666
      @BigRawb666 7 років тому +3

      Jake berg I agree, it's better to finish with one card the wrong way, easy to fix, rather than roughly 25 cards the wrong way, a bit harder to fix

    What a great collaboration. And this video was just great in any way. Three fundamental techniques of card magic put to use in one hell of a trick. For anyone who might wonder how to clean this up gently. Here is an idea. Hand the signed card to the spectator, reverse the deck again and you are set up for the the Tipsy Turvy Card, the first trick taught in the Royal Road to Card Magic. It´s a nice and soft way to close the set after performing such a strong ambitious card effect. And then just collect your money or let them praise you for all enternety. :-) I love youtube.

    If anyone can't use this control i tell you my way, i do a double lift in the middle of the routine (spects card is on top) and i tell them to clap their fingers so i do the erdnase colour change so he sees his card then i tell him to do it again and i do same change, after this i make the pass to pass the 2 cards on bottom face up and i make a famcy false cut(be carefull not to flash last card) then i am ready to continue with sankeys idea, i absolutely loved it, i hope i helped some of you guys

  • @richardpark2830
    @richardpark2830 6 років тому

    instead of using misdirection to flip over the pack I like to do it directly after. To do this just do a rushing action of the hand as you snapand in theother hand do a half deck flip. the pack is already squared andif done correctly will look like real magic.

      Joe Smith You flip 2 cards, so the second one from the top is also flipped, that's why you won't reveal the flipped deck when they reach for the top card. Later you can just flip back the new top card card when the audience is 'thrilled' by your magic :p

      SankeyMagic Great tutorial indeed! So for the clean-up, I give the card to the spectator (leaving the second turned-over card to act as the top of the deck), then flip the deck again when they are holding their card, and then do another half-pass? I think it's the fastest way to reset, unless you have a different recommendation :)

    • @Titanium022
      @Titanium022 9 років тому

      itai alter I dunno if this might work but maybe you can also, after flipping the deck again, steal the botom card in your deck-holding hand (using a buckle for example) while you give the deck for examination to your audience and then you can either put it in a pocket or something or put it back on the top of the deck (where it will be on the right side) when you are given the deck back. (dunno if my explanation is cristal clear though XD)
