HHH: _"I like that Rollins kid, he's got a good nose on his shoulders, that one."_
R.I.P. Bray 😢
“It’s so boring” - that’s every Randy Orion match
idk the homoerotic Edge/Orton matchups always serve😌
Exactly. Part of the reason I stopped watching WWE just absolutely backing losers over actual entertainers.
Agreed. Orton matches are the same thing for the last 10 years at least.
Unfortunately, after a long career, he has so many signature moves that he has to get in, that's all there is tile for in every match, leading to the same shit.
The Greg 'the (sledge)hammer' Valentine bit made me LOL
Ten minutes and one f***ing RKO and it's over. Then to make matters worse, they turn around and give Jinder Mahal the belt the next month.
That was because the WWE network was launching in India and Pakistan that month and they wanted to promote it
@@pepeshadilayThere were better ways than pushing a green as grass loser like Jinddr

I can dream can't I?
Vince never understood Bray, titles were not success for him, changing people was. They needed to have him work with people who wanted to change their character, and have him be the vehicle of that change.
He could haven taken the voices from Randy's head, taken control of Balor's demon, things like that.
He needed a ravens flock top thing ..with nxt or performance center call ups
He need to go away and take the shame of his schtick with him
I think Vince did understand. He just thought that was stupid af.
There was a Bray/Ambrose tortured romance angle right in front of the company's nose, and they just didn't get it😔
RIP Bray✊😔
Well this one is gonna get alot of traction in the coming weeks 😳

Me too
I can understand why the ref got out the way when the maggots showed up. I too, am afraid of death by powerpoint.
The issue is Bray made his character "I cut promos for 2 months then squash you." He gained a reputation for failing to put people over, either by the Fiend, or being a nonsensical joke to the point feuding with him was a punishment. Brock refusing to work with him and Lashley no selling him legitimate mindbroke Bray.
I say this as a fan of his. His character work no longer had a foot in the wrestling world anymore. WWE absolutely damaged him early on but he didn't do any favors for himself later on. Guy should just try and get into directing and writing.
All shortcoming are from decisions made by management. We already know about the bad booking in his previous runs, but I'll list what messed up his recent return.
1. He should've never been on a 2 hour smackdown where Bloodline Story gets given a lot of time. Raw would've been a better choice. 3 minute segments and teasers is not enough for a complex story
2. Repetitive locations and promos. Bray is only responsible for his lore, not the day to day decisions. It's been confirmed that he had a writer for his current run.
3. Even when they got back on track with the awesome LA Knight feud , WWE sold them out by forcing that Mountain Dew match. Triple H even bragged about the "1 million dollar sponsorship"
Other than the Bloodline Story what doesn't WWE botch? They have a knack for being clueless on how to use creative characters. And they usually strike out with easy homeruns
@@smoothrealism8259 WWE is initially responsable for what Bray is now, no question. However almost everyone who feuds with the guy has their career set back a year or two. The guy became a poisoned name that people with the ability to say "no" don't want to work with.
@@ZiggyMandarr That's not Bray's fault. It's not that Black & White.
OK, 1st up Seth Rollins. Truth is he was terrible as a vanilla babyface, he had no character, his promos were awful. People were already tired of him, it just cemented it with The Fiend.
I guarantee current Seth would not have to turn heel and would come out of a Wyatt feud unscathed. A lot of wrestlers like Lashley get exposed when they feud with Bray because he makes them look 1 dimensional. Most of them can't hang with his level of acting and storytelling.
If anything, that feud helped Seth. He turned heel and went into a much better role after that. With that said, the HiAC outcome was not Bray's decision.
Skip to his recent run, LA Knight came out a star after that feud. Even with WWE trying to bury both of them with that Mountain Dew match. WWE doubled down on the burial and made Knight go on a losing streak.
The main reason people say "no one comes out good after a Wyatt feud" is because WWE botches the payoff and THEN they make the Superstar go on a losing streak.
We can't just repeat what the IWC says and take it as gospel. It's deeper then that
@smoothrealism8259 So the ring work doesn't mean anything to you? Seth bust his ass every day and you don't seem to care. With that said I will agree that he worked better as a heel.
@@zemox2534 I like Seth, I was just letting him know that he fell off around that time, because his character wasn't poppin like his current run. It wasn't Wyatt's fault was my point
It's funny how WWE started to heat up when they didn't have Randy Orton they could use as a crutch
Damn ! I must have slept on the maggot thing ! Could the crowd see that too, or was that for TV viewers ? That reminds me of a Nine Inch Nails concert !! That looked awesome and totally innovative to me . They could have definitely tweeked to be better but im impressed and have no clue how I havnt seen this before !!
6:43 Mr. Worldwide is his own hypeman
I remember watching this Wrestlemania at my friend's house. After that Orton vs Bray match, I went home, I had enough
re: Stephanie going through a table - it's worth noting that she's never really taken many bumps. Throughout her career as an on-air personality, she's never really gotten much of a comeuppance because of the whole "she's the boss' daughter" thing, so none of the wrestlers (male or female) have gotten much of an opportunity to get their own back, either in the ring or on the mic... unless you count Chris Jericho's constant "jokes" about her boob job during the WCW/ECW "invasion".
Disagree. I've seen her put in finishers, shoved into tables, work-slapped (at least once by Jericho), pied, even stinkfaced.
The night Cena beat him at Extreme Rules was the night Wyatt died
Like 2 months after that Bray "freed" Harper and Rowan for some unexplained reason
After that lackluster feuds with Roman, Jericho,Ambrose, and lame Wyatt Familly reunions-breakups killed all the aura he had and never recovered
Wyatt actually won at Extreme Rules.
@@MBM1117727 i meant Wrestlemania 30 ok he won at Wxtreme Rules and what happend after that? Cena won the important matchandnthe entire feud
Cena went to won the WWE title and the Worls Heavyweigth title , then he had a badass US title reign, Wyatt did nothing of importance after that feud
@@Syfcobra8549 lets see. After that Wyatt won his feuds with Jericho and Ambrose. I think he did ok after that.

For a brief and pointless and ill-advised 18 months in my early 20s, I attended a Theatre & Performance Art (Wank) college course. The projections and effects in the Bray/Orton matches here are exactly the sort of thing we'd have to do for end-of-term class assignments.
Things are going too well, give the strap to Randal Keith Orton.
Outta nowhere
Randallberry!
3:36 guarantee Ambrose absolutely loved that and wanted Baron to hit him again. So one could say it was MIND GAMES!!!!, albeit in a 50 Shades-y and "why did we need to see this kink" way
Haha shit, that ITYSL reference, love it!
Also RIP Bray. Loved almost everything he did but that WAS a particularly bad match.
I fn LOVED the original Bray Wyatt a ton !!! He was the freshest most original thing going in WWE for a long while to me . Even as that character morphed and developed I was on board all the way . But it seemed Vince wasnt . He couldnt catch a break ! Then things got a bit too far for my taste . The beginning of The Funhouse I even liked in a weird way . And The Feind was alright too . But I thought all that was just gonna be a short lived psychotic break in his character and then he would be back as cult leader Bray in a few months . But NO ! They drug that shit out until I didnt care anymore . It got too silly . But if Bray could just talk like he was so gifted at it woulda been great . RIP Bray .
the only reason I can think of that Bray Wyatt never made it would be Vince McMahon
I just hate the camera movement. It cheapens it into more of a parody, of a parody.
Bray should get a shave ,cut his Barnet and get a suit on and be IRS Jnr.

@@Zantar45 they would have to make virgil white other wise it would be "problematic"
WWE should have been taken to task for that projection segment of the match. That was so cringy. Probably the worst I've ever seen wrestling do. WCW levels of embarrassment. I don't know how you could ever defend that segment.
Should have been used one time only ! Only for the finish ....and have it be something Orton was afraid of .like establish he has a phobia of maggots or whatever and incorporate it into the finish ...not pointlessly doing it 5 times
@@pepeshadilayThey never should have done it in the first place.

I feel bad for Bray. It is obvious that his true passion is in horror. The only reason he became a wrestler was because he wanted to make his family proud. And what did he get in return? Made to look like a fool repeatedly because of poor booking from an out of touch old man, and rejection from a fickle fanbase (basically everyone in the comment for this video) Bray would be better off directing horror films.
You think Vince came up with the Inferno Match?
Agree, he seems more interested in genre film acting, directing, special effects etc. Perhaps Creative as a role would have suited him better than Talent?
The fickle fanbase that prefers to see wrestling on a wrestling program over a cheap pg13 horror movie? Damn them!
Seriously, though, he WOULD have been better off trying to become a Rob Zombie knockoff doing movies. By that I don't even mean he's not a decent wrestler. He certainly is. He's also a great promo guy, people can really connect to him. I really liked the Wyatt Family gimmick. But it's obviously not what he really wants to do and why he constantly tries to inject his "true passion" into his wrestling character, and it's simply not working.
Sorry man, he just isn't that good. Just having "ideas" doesn't make you a filmmaker.
@@KomradeKrusherBray does better merch numbers and ratings than all your favorites. He's been the #2 draw since 2019, even with bad booking.
At the time of his disappearance he had the #3 merch, Even after the Mountain Dew match they forced on him and the random Bobby feud.
Smarks and territory old heads are loud in their opinion but their preferred wrestling style gets bodied by guys who barely wrestle like Reigns and Bray.
Even in AEW Orange Cassidy outsells most of them , but you guys cry that he's "not serious enough"
Bray does well without the support of the hardcore audience. All you guys did was made casuals leave and tank the ratings
His whole everything went bad when they started booking The Fiend literally impervious to anything not called a nuclear bomb
I think i must be the only person who doesn't mind HHH having long matches at Mania, he's a legend so beating him at Mania is a big deal for a rising star like Rollins was at the time.
bray whyatt and the family, along with the creepy entrance, was as good as it was gonna get. it was amazing. once they started peeling away family members and then changing him into the fiend..that was it. the fiend sucked..the entrance sucked..the whole dam thing sucked.

@@Tacsmoker yeah i agree. man i remember the family wearing the sheeps masks and i was like dammmm finally wwe got it right..it didnt last long sadly
The crab walk move is the type of hokey crap that makes people laugh at wrestling and it’s fans and I get why
Those people are ignorant disrespectful #£%^^^ so who bloody cares what they think!
The most annoying thing about this was for almost the entire wrestling year which is April-March, Smackdown had AJ Styles as their champ and Kevin Owens was champ on Raw. Wrestlemania was always seen as a sort of season finale of sorts were all the storylines would culminate and pay off. This Mania was by far the worst example of that because at Elimination Chamber and Fastlane which are right before Mania, both champs lost their belts to Bray and Goldberg and then their titles reigns were like a month in before the Mania season finale. And then they both lost their titles on that PPV so both reigns were completely meaningless 🙃
Exactly. Basic storytelling. Going against expectations can work, on occasion, to keep things fresh. This was just confusing.
Wonder how stephanie feels about Triple H spitting water on her during his entrance.
It was just a terrible destruction. Creative incompetent.
That match practically "broke" me on Bray because it was yet another shitty match in a long line of shitty Bray Wyatt matches (seriously, you could've counted the number of good Bray Wyatt matches by hand that didn't involve Daniel Bryan, six mans with The Shield or were gimmick matches like the HiaC with Roman)
That series of Wyatt Family vs. Sierra Hotel whatever elevated the two factions. Both came out of those matches looking so much better and hotter than they actually were.
Bray Wyatt changed his whole career when he cheated on his wife and then left her for JoJo the ring announcer.
I wish they gave Wyatt the title when the Wyatt family were in full force. For me he didn't seem to have the same impact when he was solo during this time.
33 was better than 32. So it felt awesome half way through and then it hit me “this is mid”
He just passed away.
I just noticed in one frame that pitvull looks a lot like a bald miz
Bray's drop off has much to do with Ambrose/Moxley but you all aren't ready for that convo😔
Actually, looking back at this Mania, it feels like both their programmes were originally meant to be with each other, but someone banned from them working together any more, so we got...this.
Ambrose/Moxley?
@@markant9534 yes, he was very..let's say close with Wyndham
Really gonna miss bray wyatt.
Big muscles make you gas quicker.
Mtn dew match nuff said
He failed because he is a gimmick. Awful matches, feuds make no sense because the gimmick is completely illogical, and rambling promos that are meaningless and without substance.
These plebs that go crazy for Bray would enjoy WCW dungeon of doom
Orton v Wyatt is the most disappointing match I've ever watched. I'm expecting a coronation for one of Wrestling's most unique creative talents. Instead, there was spooky BS, yet ANOTHER unnecessary Orton title reign (see also 2020,) and Bray buried twelve feet deep.
As a gimmick there’s just not enough steak - he’s a decent wrestler technically but his ideas (and they do seem to be his) don’t have much substance. The wheels came off this last time round when Lesnar refused to work with him
Ha! The silhouette of Pitbull would look like the alien Roger from American Dad cartoon ! Except Roger could perform better and is more dynamic .
Vince McMahon, John Cena, creative team (so called).....take your pick.
Hey, HHH nose best.
When bray debuted on Raw is when it all went downhill
RIP
Vince?
Vince ruins everything
11:11 have never wanted to imagine Trips in a shagging scenario. cheer boys😕
0:55 Bray/Windham's looks are so confusing to me. He's obviously crusty and pasty and overweight and looks like a possum or some such creature you'd find rooting through bins in a Florida trailer-park. Not near Orton's league. But then occasionally he smiles or looks a certain way and you're like...hmmmm. Perhaps with enough shots. Think it's the eyes or the voice.
WWE yet again wasted a another talent just like Enzo.
Bray could of been as big as Taker.
I went off Orton along with Edge and Cena with all we got was those three just going against each other for what felt like five years
Outside of his issues with everyone and his sloppy ring work, Enzo was so over it was insane.
Who else do you know could go out there and have the entire crowd recite their promo? He was godly on the mic.
Fell off when the Wyatt Family was axed and he became the Fiend. Horrible gimmick, horrible angle and horrible execution Rob Zombie would have found too clichéd and ham-fisted.
Thank you for being brave enough for saying this. Everyone loved it and I couldn't see it. There's no where to go with it. It's just a creepypasta brought to life.
The ONLY good thing The Fiend ever did was pose for that very first promo picture where the mask actually looks really good and you can’t see his unflattering circus pants.
@joshuaDstarks The Fiend was great! You guys are just hating it because it was popular.. I did not like it at first, but when I actually watched clips of the gimmick, it was pretty cool. I honestly prefer the Fiend over cult leader Bray. The problem was that Vince is an idiot. The Fiend was over but his momentum died during the feud with Seth and after he lost to Goldberg and Orton
.the booking hurt Bray. Again.
@@zemox2534 I’m pretty sure I’m hating on it because they had the audacity to burn a guy “alive” in the middle of the ring.
It’s straight up made-for-video.
@@zemox2534 The Wyatt Family was popular as well, so that can hardly be your argument here. The Firefly Funhouse segments where fun when they started. Everything outside of that was derivative, gimmicky wrestlecrap somewhere between Robocop helping Sting and Undertaker executing people with lightning. The worst part being that awful and downright insulting "cinematic" match against Cena.
Bray will always be the fat guy got that got punted out of (Punks) The Nexus by Orton to me. After Bray lost the original family, the gimmick has become toxic to any opponent's cred.
Yenno I had completely forgotten about Husky and the Nexus. That's an old memory.
3:09 Big MAGAts...WWE's crowd basically
At first I said "if only they would let Bray be himself, it would be great!" Then Triple H let Bray be himself, and come up with his own story, and characters... and it was a diaster from the second he returned.
Bray Wyatt went wrong when they stopped calling him Husky Harris or Harrison, whatever, from NXT. Pure crap and lousy angles featuring technological gimmicks rather in ring adequacy. Bray has a couple of neat spots but that. is. all. The kid at 7:08 perfectly represents the character and story of Bray Wyatt (all all of pro wrestling from WWE/F since about 1988) to forever.
Also pretty sure Rollins got the big push because he liked to send pics of his little weiner and Vince is a closet homosexual so there ya go.

90% of everything Bray's ever said has been plagiarised, and that's why I could never enjoy him.
You can’t plagiarize in wrestling because it’s all a work. It’s a product by committee that piggybacks off popular culture. It doesn’t set trends, it follows them. It’s like saying, “I can’t respect that badly drawn knockoff Bart Simpson T-Shirt because it says ‘Bad to the Bone’ and that’s plagiarizing George Thorogood.”
Having main eventers for 15 years straight just shows how much worse WWF are than WCW ever were. Orton is an absolute charisma black hole and NEVER should have been a main eventer. Its like making Hardcore Holly a main eventer for two decades. There was a time that they could bury a talent like DDP and then for 20 years they rely on Orton 🤢
Stephanie's face when HHH spits the water over her was brilliant. Cant believe you didnt discuss it 😂😂😂
Making out it is a sexist thing why they cheered steph going through the table rather than because of her character and how much people rightly hated her is disgusting. Unsubbed.
