God bless his soul. My son Tanner, who along with hundreds of thousands of citizens of this city, lined the streets of Omaha to pay their respects to this young man. Something the President of The United States couldn't be bothered doing!
I lost that same son six weeks later. I absolutely know the agony that the parents are feeling. But in no way, the utter disrespect that they have had to endure. This is unconscionable, and my heart goes out to each and every one of these Gold Star families. We remember, we will not forget!!!! 🇺🇸
